So in an AI image generator I tried "Generate a picture of Jalen Hurts doing sunset heart hands".

This was the best I got:

Yes, Fangio has been bad. Some of the players aren't good enough. People like to use basless platitudes in sports. "If X is happening, that means Y isn't happening" with no logic to back it up and no examples to explain why. Depending on one's agenda they like to take either or. The reality is it's both. I remember when Fangio came here he said he'd probably retire here. He thought he'd coach here multiple years. He might only get one.

This de facto Mets/Braves playoff game has been fantastic

Is it wrong that after watching that last national broadcast game where we lost to the Mets in NY and all their fans were celebrating with those stupid OMG signs (and for some reason, the picture of that one lady with her face right in the camera showing off her stupid hoop earrings that looked like they were made by her slow nephew at fat camp is burned into my memory) that I want the Braves to sweep this series?

I am very rational.

I hate both of those teams. I’d love nothing more than both miss. Then again i live in Az and would like nothing more than see dbacks fans (ones that exist) stfu about last year as they choked a playoff spot away

Oh boy, just in time

On a positive note it looks like we may have something with Quinyon. He played every snap yesterday, it’s been baptism by fire, and he’s more than holding his own. You’d obviously like to see him come down with a few of those dropped picks but he’s footed the bill so far.

And he’s not like a 16 year old girl going on Twitter after games which shows he’s an adult.

Too bad I can’t say the same about Slay on any of those fronts.

The Braves season comes down to Chris Sale and what he does in game 2. Possible the cy young too.

That's really bad. Howie and/or Fangio clearly failed

I'm not paid $55M per year so my opinion (in the grand scheme of things) means squat .... but, if you told me I'm playing the game without WR1, WR2, and my top-tier RT, I'm getting the ball out quick and peppering the middle of the field with throws to Goedert, Barkley, and Dotson in the slot.

THANK YOU! They knew what they had and knew what they were going to get from Bucs defense and were still unprepared. You adjust when you know you're going to be without players. It's annoying that Eagles didn't

There are people who view Hurts as being on Mahomes's or Josh Allen's level when in reality he is closer to Purdy or Tua.

They're delusional. No one is like Mahomes and it's really not fair to compare someone to him

Lol I got into an argument with someone in an eagles facebook group about it. I said I wish when the camera went to Hurts on the bench that he was looking at the tablet. Pretty sure the idiot thought I was saying Hurts should be benched

What's the stat for Hurts? I could be wrong but it felt really slow

I think Howie gets most if not all the credit for trades and acquisitions that go well and they try to brush the bad ones under the rug or push blame elsewhere.

I don’t see it as a sirianni decision to just fire his coordinator without going to Howie and lurie. Considering past actions by Howie and Lurie i wouldn’t be surprised if they went to him and said it’s not good enough with Desai we think Patricia gives you a better opportunity and sirianni obliged. Especially when lurie and howie in the past has been wanting HC they have more control over.

no offense i think lurie and Jeff forced sirianni to do everything they wanted or he was out like Doug. I tend to think Brian Johnson wasn’t just a strictly a sirianni hire either.

Lurie isn't a fool and Howie isn't either. Howie will take blame if he's like a bull in a china shop making decisions. He knows there are boundaries he should not cross.  Howie wasn't planning, at that point, to potentially get rid of Srianni.  I am sure Lurie and Sirianni had some faith that Sirianni knew the changes that needed to be made to get them back on track. The team was 10-3 and needed just a few wins to get home field in the playoffs.  I am sure he had his analytics department providing data on how the calls were not working. Lurie certainly had that information. I don't think it means they influenced Sirianni to make the change.  My guess is the decision to take playcalling from Desai came from Patricia.  Yes, Sirianni probably went to Lurie and Howie with the idea but the team was 10-3 and I think they hoped Sirianni was right.

It’ll probably be a couple of days before I can stomach participating again, but I wanted to take a quick moment to reveal an amazing prediction I made yesterday. When the Bucs were preparing to punt for the first time up 14-0, I said out loud that "DeJean is going to fumble this.” Dunno why I had that premonition but I did. I guess it just felt like it was going to be "one of those days”.

Interesting premonition, but I don't put that on DeJean at all.  He had no chance really with the defender being pinballed at him.   And then later, Ringo runs into him while trying to fair catch.    WHAT IS HAPPENING?!  Why are these guys running into the punt returner?   Should the returner be yelling something as he's calling for a fair catch?   I wouldn't think so.  These guys need to have their heads up and their wits about them.

You can believe what you want but i don’t believe for a second sirianni came up with the idea for Patrica. Especially not when lurie and howie for years have yearned for the patriots way and have an admiration for that organization. Heck they had Patricia and belichick on the sideline for MNF vs. Falcons and lurie took 9 days to make a decision on sirianni and belichick was the guy they were considering.

i tend to believe they saw Desai got his ass handed to him by sf and Dallas and howie/lurie knew he was not good enough for a team they believed had SB aspirations and didn’t believe the players were  the major problem but coaching. With an easier schedule coming up Patricia could get them playing better and better position heading into the playoffs. And also make Desai look like a bigger scapegoat for the earlier season struggles. I think they put out there that Patricia would be an upgrade and help sirianni out and sirianni obliged cause he didn’t have any allegiance to Desai and knew if he said no that there was more of a chance he’d get canned by not using their advice if things went even more sideways

Well Rashad White averaged 2 YPC, 1.8 YPC and 2.8 YPC before the Eagles game where he averaged 4.9 YPC. Might as well get him back up to speed against this team.

No one will take him with that contract.

Wow the Braves not having sale.

Right after they eliminate the Eagles

The way the Eagles have been playing recently, they will have eliminated themselves by the end of the regular season. If Washington and the Eagles  keep playing like they have been the last 4 games, Washington will win the division and I don't see any wild cards coming from the NFC East.

It's possible that Lurie made the call. I don't think Howie would want his fingerprints on the decision. Again, I also do remember some report about Sirianni being the person that had the relationship with Patricia.  Patricia was on the street in January of 23.  The Eagles could have hired him instead of Desai from the outset.  They didn't because they wanted someone from the Fangio tree.  I don't think Sirianni had a preference.

For a few minutes I entertained the idea that Sirianni would get canned this week but then I said, Naah.

Exactly what happened with Lurie.

So, they're both resigning?
