I know Pete Rose gambled on baseball while he managed but they should’ve inducted him into the HOF based solely on his accomplishments as a player. Amazing ball player.

Yep.  There are a ton of players in the hall who were awful people, but Rose didn’t get in because of some gambling.  All the steroid guys should be in too - if you want, put an asterisk next to their name, but they deserve to be there

They'll probably put him in posthumously now which is a shame. He should have been alive to see himself go in. Enough time had passed.

In the playoffs you eventually need your QB to step up and make plays but this team can win a lot of games in the regular season relying on Saquon assuming that the defense isn’t actually as bad as we saw yesterday. They need to take the ball out of Hurts’s hands until he can get the turnovers under control. They’re obviously not going to bench him but the game plan moving forward cannot rely on him until he proves otherwise.

Shame they won't do that.  They are allergic to that.

It's the defense for sure as that scheme blows.  Soft zone with no pass rush and weird AF gap (loss of) control.  It's dumb.  Rush 5 and press coverage. Speed the game up and make them beat you. Don't just give it away.

But the offensive scheme was dumb AF in light of the injuries.  The game plan 100% should have been dink dunk slants, RB screens, mesh and 40 runs by committee.

Going forward there is no reason not to run SB behind that line.  Especially, w Hurts feeling all that pressure and turning it over so much.  Simpler is better.

This makes too much sense, they would never do it lol

I’m still not all the way out on Huff. No edge rusher will look good when the ball is out of the QBs hand consistently, and offenses can mix up the run vs the pass because there’s no perimeter run support due to DBs being 10 yards away at all times. Only QBs who "want to do too much” are beatable with our defense. Any QB who can make the easy play will dice us up every single time.

Siriani had scapegoats in his DC’s last year instead of understanding the scheme is absolute garbage. He’s the most useless coach in the NFL - doesn’t call plays, doesn’t make adjustments, doesn’t improve in any way year over year. This man has a pro-bowl roster on offense for 3 seasons - and grabs the worse defensive coordinators to play prevent for 4 quarters to make sure his offense doesn’t get the ball lol.

I've been watching him.  If the QB had the ball in his hands for 4 seconds, Huff still wouldn't get there.  He's running into the blockers and his forward motion stops.  And he's also dropped down on the ground quite often.

Joe Jackson never got in.  I don't think Pete will either.

I think hes having a stroke...🤷‍♂️

Well after yesterday’s game I understand

Watching the Titans and Dolphins and it such a boring game but just watching Callahan and McDaniel coach there team with big time injuries so what do they do? RUN THE BALL… it 6-3 close game either team can win.

Sirianni makes the game more complicated than it needs to be.

Breaking news: team wearing all black alternate uniforms vs team wearing all-white. Modern uniform trends suck.

There are two separate processes.  MLB had the decision whether to reinstate him, and the baseball writers would have then voted on whether to induct him into the HOF.  MLB needed to reinstate him before he could even be on the ballot to vote on.

MLB was idiotic not to reinstate Rose, especially once he was employed with MLB Network as an on-air commentator.  I think, regardless, too many writers are too petty to have voted him in.  He wouldn’t have gotten the required 75%

what is this?? No wonder we are so damn soft... fing embarrassing

I dont see how the locker room wouldnt have a problem with this

If they dont the eagles are already done.

There’s this weird thing people do when people die is they get this urge to crap talk them because it gives them an endorphin rush to piss people off without them being able to do anything about it.

People only do this online.

At least save this behaviour for the monsters of the world.

This team could absolutely use Belichick right now.  Lurie should pay him a one time fee to sit in front of the coaches and players and explain in that dry arse monotone just how awful they've been.

Remember that time Belichick got so pissed he just pulled the punt returner altogether and let the ball drop? We need that type of energy right bow
