That first play hurts missed to barkley was interesting

Dan Orlovsky talked about how that play is a common play in the NFL and everybody knows how to read the route progression and where to look to manipulate the D and that on that particular play hurts took his eyes backwards through the progression as its intended.

He then mentions that he doesnt know if hurts screwed it up or if hes being coached differently than is the norm on that play?

Im not sure either, but either way the play was screwed up and had it been run the way it normally is it goes for a td instead of a ln incomplete pass out if bounds.

Its a bad look for the coaches and hurts and could be telling of a larger problem

The weird part is it looked like he just threw it away out of bounds but it would make no sense to throw it away that far down the field so he tried and just badly missed I guess

Apparently according to orlovsky its a smash concept and the qbs first read is over the deep middle and hurts is supposed to look left to influence the D then work to to the middle right but at the snap hurts immediately looks to the right which leads the safety right to the play

He acknowledged the pressure and said if he hadn't led the safety to the play there would have been more room for hurts and barkley to work with.

Orlovsky said if hurts ran the play correctly with his eyes its a td.

Then orlovsky said he didnt know if hurts was coached it that way or hurts just messed it up.

Id lean towards hurts messing it up rather than it being coached that way, unless suri was coaching that then id believe Siri is coaching it wrong because hes an idiot

Ive tended to back up Siri in the past but hes shown hes not a good play caller and seems he sucks at game planning as well so wouldnt be surprised if hes also either telling hurts to do something incorrectly or is totally clueless about it being incorrect.

Still not sure what the point of Siri is but I dont think he should be anywhere near game planning or play calling which essentially makes him a glorified clapper ...😒

Create a committee to review the refs & rules. Then get rid of bad/inconsistent refs, adjust the rules to not call every little thing and reduce flags, keep the game moving.

Spiking Hurts gatorade with PEDs and then requesting a random drug test

Huh, this one-night stand I had a few years ago was shaped like that between her legs. Maybe I would’ve enjoyed it more if I had tried to tackle her instead.

Nick will end up taking the fall and getting fired, but anyone thinking this team doesn’t have a Hurts problem is fooling themselves. 2022 was awesome but it was obviously the outlier the same way 2017 was with Wentz. It’s kind of crazy how the timeline between Wentz/Doug and Nick/Hurts is pretty much identical.

And yet he still has the highest winning % of any QB since the start of the 2022 season.

Pick another stat to gush over. Winning % is team based

Equal the playing field between the offense and defense. For instance: a holding call against the defense is not an automatic first down.

Ten different OCs have tried to fix his deficiencies as a quarterback and all (we will see about Nr. 10) have failed. Not really a positive in my eyes. Getting divorced 9 times in 8 years isn’t something to brag about, even if your finances remain good.

So he’s gotten more coaches fired than any qb in the nfl.

Ok, let's play this game. So if the QB gets all the credit for the wins, he gets all the credit for the losses.   How does that winning pct. look since about week 12 last season?  Not nearly so rosy.  So he needs to fix it.

I can’t tell if you are really stubborn or really stupid? Hurts sucks, give it up already.

My balancing move… the whole offside / false start pointing thing would have to go. It’s silly. Offensive lineman should be disciplined enough to stay in their stance. Conversely, I want DL aggressive.

Hurts is due for a 300 yard passing 3 rushing TD zero turnover game at some point this year to throw a wrench into the debate.

That won't throw a wrench in the debate until it becomes a normal occurance. Having an isolated good game is an anomaly. If he follows up that game with a 200 yard game with 1 TD, and 2 INTS and a fumble, we're right back where we started.

How many times in his career has he even thrown for 300 yards? You can possibly count that on one hand.

320 total yards with 3 total tds is more his range
