The Saints game. Like 2 games ago...I mean I get it's en vouge to hate on Hurts right now and he had a part in us being behind in that game, but he and Saquon also brought us back in that game and won it.

True…words matter haha.  Yes, he helped.  The real question should be when is the last time he’s won us a game by taking over and doing something you don’t expect out of your run of the mill average QB or played a full 60 mins of consistent football.

What a joke of an organization.

Eh, we were moving the ball. If Sirianni weren't a moron, we kick at least 2 FGs instead of blowing it on 4th down. Hurts had an end zone pick where Smith should have crossed the safety's face, but Hurts still shouldn't have thrown it. And the play to Goedert was a check by Hurts.

Jalen hasn't played well, but he has done some good things. This CLE game is very telling because it's the 1st game where we will have our best offensive player since the GB game. If they have AJ, DeVonta and Lane and still look like crap, then we're cooked. I can't kill the offense for Tampa. The defense, on the other hand...

This team reminds me of the Niners when the wheels come off.  Shanny is super bipolar in play calling and gets in his own way like Siri, and when it looks good it’s great, but if the QB can’t get into a rhythm it’s ugly and it spirals.  I don’t think he has a complete hands off approach with Kellen TBH.

Seems cold, but pretty much everyone here wanted Siri left in TB and not let on the plane.

You don't let him come into the building like a normal work day, fire him, escort him out and say nothing to the team. Call him in yesterday and fire him when there are no players in the building, or have a plan to say something to the players today. This is just idiotic.

Ok.  Point being, Schwartz wasn't part of the Fangio tree.

No, but he played the sticks defense and a lot of zone to not get beat over the top. Didnt blitz much

I hated Schwartz defense. Only good thing about it was the Dline IMO

We're about to see him again in 5 days.

Yeah, but this was Saleh leaving the Jets' facility:

Different style, and unlike Gannon, he also knew when to change it up so that he could influence games properly.   SB LII, he went more aggressive at the end, which led to a turnover and basically sealed the game.   Meanwhile, Gannon, the Fangio disciple, allowed the team to die a death by a thousand paper cuts in the Super Bowl.

Makes me wonder if they brought him in and didn't necessarily immediately want to fire him, like "Hey Rob, we know you and Aaron aren't getting along right now, we're going to need you to take about 50% off there, bud!", "Aaron is the problem, bro, I can't take how likeable he is to the team, I'm benching him", "You're fired, get Large Marge to walk him out!"

If Hurts can get the ball out quick then we should be able to beat them easily then

I thought that being escorted out of the building by security usually meant that the subject did or could do something harmful to the company if not criminal.

We only rushed 4 on BG's strip sack.

agreed but then again we ARE talking about the Jets here....

Massive NFL weekend, not only for the Eagles to show some semblance of being a competitor against a garbage heap team, but there are a few other matchups between potential playoff teams:

2-3 Niners vs. 3-2 Seahawks

2-3 Cards vs. 3-2 Packers

3-2 Bucs vs. 2-3 Saints

4-1 Commanders vs. 3-2 Ravens

3-1 Lions vs. 3-2 Cowboys

Can't afford to fall into this slopfest

As much as we complain about Lurie and Howie, imagine being a Jets fan. Or Browns. Raiders. Panthers.

Just utterly hopeless.

It's going to be interesting to see Daniels face good competition finally. The Bengals can score but can't stop anyone. They got beat down at Tampa (hey, that sounds familiar) week one, and this is their biggest test of the season. Win, or even keep it close, against the Ravens, and I'll begin to believe.

Man, the Commies last 7 games are brutal. 2 against us, 2 against the Cowfrauds, at Saints, home against Atlanta and one easy game against the Titans before their week 14 bye. They could start 7-3 or 8-2 and collapse down the stretch/

Would a joke of organization make a pitch like that??

Bucs and Saints should actually be interesting

I'm in agreement with Vikas that Daniels has looked great against meh or good teams. Should be interesting to see how he is against Ravens defense

Nope.  It's just the way some companies do it.  My brother-in-law used to work for a government utility company (before it became privatized years ago) and when they decided to downsize they brought staff in, handed them a letter telling them they were terminated, and wouldn't even allow them to go back to their desks -- they were handed their jackets/purses, etc. and told them their personal items would be boxed up and mailed to them.

Six years ago I was bought out by an employer (knew it was coming).  They had me drive all the way across the city for the meeting, gave me my letter with my settlement, and asked me to sign it.  I told them "the keys to the facility are on my desk" and never returned to my office.

I'm sure he'll do OK. You hinted at it, but at some point the Eagles need to make sure they don't fall too far behind.  The Commanders' schedule is just as easy as the Eagles'
