I'm sure he'll do OK. You hinted at it, but at some point the Eagles need to make sure they don't fall too far behind.  The Commanders' schedule is just as easy as the Eagles'

If we are one or two games back going into their closing 7 game stretch, I will feel pretty good. Our closing stretch isn't nearly that bad - last 5 are Panthers at home, Steelers at home, at Washington, Dallas and Giants at home.

We're about to see him again in 5 days.

My concern is that Schwartz will have that defense humming. Even if Watson is terrible and overcoming a post massage creaming.

Low scoring game incoming...

Aaron had to save his boy

Cornelius, NC has officially abandoned the dreadful Panthers to root for the dreadful Patriots.

Sounds exactly like every other piss poor excuse for a Panthers fan I've known since I moved to Charlotte.

Didn't Bills fire a coach during the season and actually end up playing better? Maybe it wasn't Bills but I remember some team making the move and the team actually did end up playing better

We only rushed 4 on BG's strip sack.

We rushed 4 with 3 DEs and Fletcher Cox.  And they were playing up, they weren't playing off in some sort of prevent or sticks D.  The fact that they were up forced Brady to hold the ball long enough for Graham to get there.

They fired their OC last year and then caught fire.

Massive NFL weekend, not only for the Eagles to show some semblance of being a competitor against a garbage heap team, but there are a few other matchups between potential playoff teams:

2-3 Niners vs. 3-2 Seahawks

2-3 Cards vs. 3-2 Packers

3-2 Bucs vs. 2-3 Saints

4-1 Commanders vs. 3-2 Ravens

3-1 Lions vs. 3-2 Cowboys

Can't afford to fall into this slopfest

Sitting at 2-2, they are already squarely in the midst of that slopfest.

I don't think the CBs were pressing and the flat was wide open from what I recall. Brady was in the process of checking it down to his right just as Graham broke free. I remember watching it on the replay and thinking that was an easy first down if BG is a second slower in getting to him.

They are not loyal at all

It has been abandon ship since Cam Newton did his last press conference in drag.

Hopefully getting our two best WRs and best OL back will help the offense not look like absolute garbage again.

It really shouldn't have gone down so badly. There's Goedert, Barkley, and Dotson left to throw to. They never seem to game plan well after losing Lane though

If the Browns cleaned house, Shorts is definitely a DC that should be considered while we bring in an HC/OC.

That's a no for me.

Definitely time.  There was absolutely no excuse for them to lose to the Dolphins last week.  Brissett isn't even a high-end backup.

Here's the all-22 and end-zone angle. It's standard cover-4 / quarters with CBs way off the LOS (even farther than I recalled). Not sure there is anything particularly aggressive about this play call, BG just dressed that RG in a clownsuit on his way to making the biggest defensive play in franchise history.

Eagles cut Devin White. The whole situation is annoying. They botched LB so badly. Again.

He was a terrible head coach and the eagles wont bring back that kind of defense they made it clear they don't want that kind

So was Belichick with the Browns.  JJ's style of defense lives on with Spags.  I'd take him over many options.

Baun is good. He gets partial credit for that.

Not surprising. Well done Howie

I think Fangio gets that credit
