The AP must have been pissed Geno Smith won over Hamlin last year

They needed to separate them. Though they need to add one for a player in Darnold's situation. There's always someone like that

The most uninspiring inspirational speech you can get.

Are they making a Snickers commercial?

The 1st series, the 1st quarter should tell us what we need to know about this team's focus and preparation. On paper, they should destroy the Browns in a blowout win. Brown, Smitty and Lane back. Coming off the bye with time to evaluate. They so far are showing more of what we saw last season. They should have been fired up to start this season but still slow starts and not seeming prepared. We'll see if Siri's speech about hunger shows up on the field. They should be all business, focused, pissed off and wanting to make a statement.

Siriannis speeches are truly terrible. If I was one of those players it wouldn’t do anything to motivate because you know that he’ll still be the one making stupid decisions and calling stupid plays.

The ice cream is getting warm, wrap it up coach.

They should also be living in the Browns backfield. If the Browns get the ball and methodically move the ball down the field, you know it's going to be a long day.

Calcaterra can't block so save his life but he can push a button quickly. Alright, get it in the playbook.

He's not reacting, he's anticipating.

If pissing one's pants during a game is cool, considered this a team full of Miles Davises.

I wonder if they had a Fortnite party during the bye week.

I know we can't read too much into press conferences. But I just watched Hurts from yesterday and Siri from today.

Siri was rambling like a moron and it gave me no confidence that he's done enough to fix the issues.

Hurts however, this is the first press conference this year going back to the offseason, where he seemed more positive and happy. Could that be from having his WRs back? He said he was pleased with how the bye week went, that things were more efficient, he even said it was the most efficient bye week process since he's been here. Now, I could read into that and say that's coming from Moore, or maybe Siri actually did step up, or the team collectively got themselves together. I know words don't matter, we have to see it on the field and I will believe it when I see it. But, I thought it was interesting that Hurts demeanor was more upbeat and positive. Curious to see how this plays out.

Like I said earlier, I think the 1st quarter will tell us if this team has changed or not.

I've never been fooled by Hurts' press conferences.

Maybe we should try Calcaterra at qb.

Only high spirits around here, huh?

Press conferences in general never give much substance and this organization has been tight-lipped in them for years going back to the Reid days. Hurts has always had a dead-panned manner in them where he just gives platitudes, and to be fair he was the same way during 2022 and the early part of 2023 when they were winning. It's just who he's always been for better or worse. You never could take much from these things.

It'd be a credibility issue for me. He's not a former pro player or excellent schemer. There's just nothing there of value outside of a few catchphrases.

I think it's time Lurie and Howie realize the best thing Sirianni did was curate Steichen's offense and - gulp - Gannon's defense. Moore and Fangio are ready-made coordinators - we don't need Sirianni's simple mind contaminating the offense any longer. Fire him.

He entered it during the Bucs game. Seems like Eagles just held off him and Smith from fully clearing for competitive advantage.

No.  I still hate this team, and I especially hate everyone in here.

I hate you too. See you Sunday!

Guess the QB's

QB1: 90-132, 68.2%, 930 passing yards, 4 passing TD's, 4 INT's, 163 rushing yards, 2 rushing TD's, 9 Fumbles

QB2: 106-176, 60.2%, 852 passing yards, 5 passing TD's, 3 INT's, 131 rushing yards, 1 rushing TD, 5 Fumbles
