They can smile about a win, and still observe their HC and think it's dumb.

The HC sets the tone. They talk a lot about standard and culture. You have examples of players not being focused like Maddox who yapped about Fortnite on the field during a loss, Slay posted his individual resume on Twitter after a loss to say they're not bad, then laughing with a division rival on a podcast about his own teammate, meanwhile on the field these guys are making lazy "tackles" and business decision plays. They are soft and undisciplined. They don't practice hard enough, they are not focused, they always have slow starts even after a bye. They are not being led by a leader of men. The HC is a clown who taunts fans, shaves his head and uses flower analogies for motivation, quotes his brother the high school coach for inspiration and sets the tone for a clown show of undisciplined football.

They need a HC to be serious and set the tone. Fun is fine but there's a time and place for everything.

The play on the field matters.  If it's not good enough he should be gone.

We all have every right to complain about the product on the field and it starts and ends with Nick.

I just find it kinda funny that Philadelphia fans, who are notorious for being tough and talking more trash than most, would be upset about him jawing with some fans a little, especially after a win.

I'm sorry if it bothers you and some others.  For me it doesn't.  The play on the field bothers me more than a little trash talk.

AJ Brown is one of the 5 best WR in the NFL and is capable of winning games for the offense.  Today was one of those games.

They did tell him not to. Lurie himself said it and Nick confirmed it.

I believe you but I didn't see that.  When did Lurie say this?

I know it's a hypothetical, but IF Saquon catches the pass against the Falcons and gets the first down at the end of the half today, the vibes around here would be totally different.

He's able to adjust and make plays on qb1 bad throws

I’m not a Fangio fan at all but any time your defense doesn’t allow a TD in a game against any team, you really can’t be mad at the DC.

I don’t think so. Getting butt blasted by the Bucs then barely beating the browns coming off a bye… yeah you must be used to the New York and Boston fans in Connecticut.

The clock hadn't hit zero yet.   So, it wasn't actually 'after' the win.    But, the issue is that the jawing at the fans is a symptom of the problem.   You play every play out, you prepare fully to do your best, you don't end practice early and go play Fortnite.  When the HC doesn't finish the game focused on the field, then how can he expect his players to?  Little things matter, because little things add up to big things.  Poor tackling...   Procedural/presnap penalties...  Running out of bounds at the wrong time... it all adds up to the product we see on the field.   It's about attention to detail.

DeJean and Quinyon definitely look the part. Would have been nice to see Mitchell get his first INT today but had the friendly fire from CJ. And DeJean had blanket coverage today which is a great change from seeing Maddox get dusted. Sure tackling too.

And dare I say Bryce Huff actually showed a pulse today along with Sweat. Regardless of the opponent, it’s nice to see those guys get some sort of confidence back.

Calcaterra continuing to emerge and grow as a trusted target for Hurts is one of the very few good developments on offense this season.

And a key missed blitz pickup last week that led to the strip sack.

I am very happy to see DeJean able to contribute.  Definitely an improvement over Maddox.

Even Sirianni’s kid looks like he is sick of his dad’s crap.

Eagles were lucky Packers settled for FG's instead of TD's off qb1 turnovers in week 1. Dude is complete ass

I'm just waiting for him to get annoyed with and scold his daughter.  That has been the trademark of anytime he brings his kids up for a PC.

I think Sirianni brings his kids to the podium to avoid any tough questions from the media.  Today he has all 3 of them. I guess he needed a lot of protection today.

I just pressed play. Did they ask about the taunting?

Can you blame his kid? His dad is losing his mind. He has to coach the most overrated player in the NFL

Yeah... it would be like the beginning of last year where they were winning more despite their failures.  This year, they lost twice because of them, and tried to lose today.   If these weren't exactly the same issues that we saw last year, with almost identical results... then maybe.   But, winning despite the warts likely doesn't change the tenor that much... because last season was a waiting game for the bottom to fall out, and then it did.  This year just started out that way much more.

Quick thoughts:

- They got a W which is great but it wasn't one which gives you a lot of confidence in the team. Still getting the W was important

- Game was far too close than it should have been. The Browns suck and were depleted as hell by injury. Yet we only won by 4 (although with a 10 point flip freak play in their favour)

- Kudos to the D. Held them to 9 points - and anytime you do that, its great. Does it mean much - I dunno. Browns have been a joke on O all year and were missing bunch of key pieces

- The coaches really need to work on the first 15 play scrip. You cant keep coming out flat every single game

- My biggest concern with the team we just don't score enough points. The O is supposed to be the loaded part of the team. We need to be putting up around 25+ (top 10 O level). But for whatever reason, they have been incapable of putting together complete games on that side of the ball

So.... what do we have to give up to get Myles?

The got blasted without three of their best players.  Without the FG block they'd probably win by two scores.

There are miserable fans that are never happy in NY and Boston also.

That was my first thought as well lol

Trade qb1 and a 1st for Myles

Disagree. It's not the team record that's the issue. It's slow starts, the turnovers, (which I know there weren't any today). It's the struggles to put teams away that they are supposedly better than. The overall sloppy play.
