I know it's a hypothetical, but IF Saquon catches the pass against the Falcons and gets the first down at the end of the half today, the vibes around here would be totally different.

All true, but if Barkley doesn’t break off that run against Saints it’d be worse.

Yep. What's wrong with him? Lack of focus in key situations is just a bad look for a star player.

Can take saquon out of the giants but you can’t take the giants completely out of saquon.

No, I don't think so. All last year during 10-1 winning streak, fans were down on the team because of the way they were playing, the coaching, the ugly wins. We're seeing the same. This should have been a blowout win today and there are a lot of problems on this team still.

Two of the biggest plays of the year have come off mesh concept with the Goedert play against NO and DeVonta’s TD today. Good man beater and they’ve run it really well this year.

Siri would disagree and say we need to run strictly hitches to the sidelines. He knows bec he just loves football so much

Heal up for the Giants big guy. 50/50 he plays.

I just pressed play. Did they ask about the taunting?

It's often hard to hear the actual questions because they're not on mic, but it sounded like the first question was about the fans, and he said he was just excited about the win. Later another one asked the him about taunting Browns defensive players. Nick said he was having fun, and his players told him this week "we need you back Nick" and asked him to bring the energy this week. He said he thinks when he's having fun, that brings it out of the rest of the team.

Sweet play

Nick taking the blame for Moore and Vic doing something stupid is actually against his whole accountability motto. It's good that he's willing to take the blame for his guys failing but it's just a cover

Not really, there is accountability in public and accountability within the team. The 2nd one is the more important and the one that should be what every team is focused on- I have no problem with coaches protecting their coaches and players in public. We should be used to it after all those Andy Reid years.

Has that happened though?

None of us know for sure but i would guess based on the play on the field its been lacking a little late last year and into this year. Or the team isn't still responding to him the same way. Either way its a major issue and he will be gone if it doesn't get fixed as the year moves on.

Can't help but root for the Lions.

Their fans deserve some success.

I notice that too. Couldn't hear any of the questions

Agree to disagree

Alim McNeil > Williams + Davis combined

The nfl really wants brady to do all the cowboys games..

The only game so far this season he didn't do was about 2 weeks ago (phi/tb) but that was bc cowboys played the thursday prior

Just came back from gym was not expecting this 17-3

Lions are solid all the way around.  Probably the best team in the NFC right now. Although, I still not completely sold on Goff. I think he is very average at best and misses a lot of open receivers.

I'm late. Just noticed Saints had 50 dropped on them

Goff is a system QB. Thankfully he's in the best offensive system in the league.

AJ Brown is one of the 5 best WR in the NFL and is capable of winning games for the offense.  Today was one of those games.

We have 2 of those wr’s

In my mind, no. They’ve been this team for 3 years. They got lucky and made a SB the first year.

You guys need to watch the entire press conference videos, not just clips off Twitter. Siri is unprofessional, emotional, acting like a petulant teenager. He's snapping at the media, cursing in front of his children. He was asked about the slow starts and he snapped back that the defense started fast. He gets defensive and lashes out. He's pounding the table. As someone else pointed out, he awkwardly polled reporters and then all of his kids fishing for someone to agree with him that the stadium was loud.

He also was asked why he brought all his kids to the press conference, is there a specific reason. He said he has fond memories as a child of football and wants to raise his family to be around football.

Also, Reid was stoic and gave the media nothing, as coaches should give the media nothing. Siri acts like a clown on the sideline, in game decisions and media. He's emotional and immature. He's not a leader of men.
