I’ll wind up like Pink, if I watch another 10 games like this.

I think DeJean will be a better returner than Covey once he gets settled in. He still thinks he's in college and can just get around the edge with his speed which is not the case in the NFL. He just looks more sturdy back there.

Giants aren't a bad team. They just don't seem to know how to win.

That fumble sums that up

Dodgers have outscored the Mets and giants 9-7

I know some fans aren't happy with the Win but I am.  Look It's a long season, The Saints was the hottest team before they played us and now they haven't won a game since.  The Ravens started out 0-2 and haven't lost a game since. The point is the Birds have time to improve and our Bye came at the right time.  Even though they will most likely be playing teams with losing records over the next month, I'm confident they will play better as the year goes on.  I think we've been spoiled the last two seasons.  The Eagles were 20-2 over their first 11 games the last two seasons (Including starting 5-0 in back to back seasons).  Funny GMen and Bengals are our next two opponents.  So we got a preview tonight.

Fred Johnson gave up 9 pressures and a sack against the Bucs. Burns will probably be lining up against him all game.

Yeah and he held up surprisingly well against Garrett after Mailata went down.

tell me that story after you see how this oline playys next week.

Yup just have to play well enough in september and October to have a chance in December and January.

Last year eagles started 10-1 then the bottom fell out, id rather they struggle a bit now then in december

He held up well in the Saints game also when filling in. I’m just guessing he’s got the giant bullseye on him going into the next game.

Giants kicker 🤣

Gmen and Bengals both look like losses for the siranni led eagles

At the start of the season I wanted another big winning streak out the gate.  Now I realize that struggling early can be beneficial come playoff time.   Losing by 1 point and getting beat in Tampa were just the type of losses to wake this team up early this year.   Again 20-2 to start the last two seasons, that's insane how good they've been the last two years.  But like you said, it's not how you start but how you finish.  Hopefully they learned from last year.

What do you guys want Sirianni to say in his PC to these questions? That he's a dumbarse? (probably true though). Good for him for giving it back to annoying ass fans. It was stupid and he lacks emotional maturity, but it doesn't matter to me that much. He showed some fire and at least you know he cares.

The team is bad right now, but some of you have to let go of 2022. You always want the team to be great, but those seasons don't come around every year. It's the NFL. You need to lower your expectations. Even the Chiefs' offense goes through poor stretches. The QB is holding the offense back more than we probably realize too.

Conduct himself like a professional adult.

Not just on these two teams, but the nfl is not a great product right now. Watched a ton of games today, there’s a lot of just bad football teams and football being played. Lions, bears, falcons, packers, Texans and Bucs all looked good or competent today. Everyone else was i can say didn’t look great. Even the Steelers who won 32-13 was in a fight with Vegas until Vegas self destructed late in that game. Score makes it seem like Steelers played great. Really Vegas found ways to screw things up.

Defensively, I’m hopeful that Vic and the players sync and the scheme improves over the season.

Offensively, I have less optimism as it seems to be based on just having better talent. So, other teams improve we don’t and if anything we get worse due injuries.

Some fans wonder why other fans can be concerned and critical after a win. They need to listen to a veteran of the team who knows what it takes to win.

Should finally cool down this week. Been a brutal few months though. I can handle it in July/August because it’s expected. Not in October though.

It is because Siri is plugging it up.

All pre season we heard about motion and hurts under center.

Other than the tush push I think hurts was under center once on the bootleg pass to callcaterra  and the motion was minimal at best

This is still Siri offense just Moore " running" it,  swapping out OCs but running the same stuff DCs have figured out wont un constipate anything ...

Disagree.  We saw a lot of new stuff in Week 1.

He said that 95% of the offense was new in the summer.  My guess is that Hurts doesn't feel comfortable doing the new stuff.

You really think that Sirianni is taking the new stuff out of game plans?
