Watch the full play again, it looks like blanket coverage at the catch because AJ has to slow down (even for just a step) and the defender catches up to him. He had a full step on the DB, a pass in stride is a TD, or at least a non contested catch

Berman on his pod yesterday said he talked to an observer that was in the section Nick yelled at after the game. According to this person there was a group of fans who were relentless and screaming at Sirianni all game to the point it was affecting the viewing experience of everyone around. It was a lot of "Fire Nick” and whatnot.

This makes a ton of sense for obvious reasons. I don’t think Reddick will get near the production Hutchinson would have gotten, but definitely more than what they’re likely to get with what the Lions currently have to replace his production.

Maybe they were pressing him to play more like an OLB.  Not real easy to drop in coverage from a four point stance. So that stance limits what Fangio can disguise.

Honestly I wonder how much interest he gets at this stage, he's coming off getting on for 11 months of inactivity, he wanted a pretty hefty contract off the Jets but now he owes the league $8million in hold out fines off whatever he does make so there's no chance of signing him on a cheap prove it deal or heavily backloading it, you've basically got to commit to top 10 edge salary for a guy who hasn't taken even a practise snap since January and has a reputation for freelancing. 

49ers and Lions are the only contenders who could do that comfortably as it stands, I wonder if Washington takes a swing for the fences given the potential dumpster fire NFC East.

He wasn't going to sign a prove it deal anyway. He's wanted the long term deal for awhile now

Wilson gets BUF next week, DET the following week.  This time last year Desai held the Rams to 14 and MIA 17, he had his moments.
