Tell me you haven't watched any pre-season games without telling me.  The dude is fearless.  I am not saying he will become a star but if he fails, it won't be because of tic toc dances or nail polish.  He has great work ethic.  Do you research before making stupid claims next time.

Funny how we don't hear about Caleb Williams painting his nails anymore now that he's starting to play well. It's almost like one thing has nothing to do with the other.

I've heard halfway decent analysis out of Cam. If him acting goofy means we see more of him and less of the other idiots they put on TV, yes please.

Also I'll always love Cam for that video where he fights like 5 guys at once 😂

I just don't understand why guys have to have a schtick now. Mark Ingram has good insight on the Big Noon College show but he always seems like he's trying too hard to be a goofball. RG3 always seemed like he was trying way too hard with energy.

Do they all look at Pat McAfee and say I need to be him?

The more over the top you can be seems to be the way for all of these guys.

To create a brand or image. To generate sound bites to spread on social media. To make money, basically.

They're creating a loud boisterous character in the same way that WWE "wrestlers" do. In the same way that Muhammad Ali would relentlessly attack all his opponents with personal insults before and after he fought them in the ring, because he knew it would sell and he could personally profit from it.

Right. It's one of the more annoying things that's happened to sports coverage over the last 5-7 years.

I'd say it's been much longer than that. Deion Sanders and Michael Irvin were way over the top when they got jobs as talking heads on these same types of shows. But yeah I do think the advent of social media has ratcheted things up a notch.

Mailata on IR

Don't think it was really necessary, he could play before then, but probably a precaution thing like with Brown.

Giants, Bengals, Jags, Cowboys are some of the lower ranked DLs in terms of pressures and sacks, so if there's any stretch to miss him it's this.

Probably Rodgers

We have no idea how bad the injury is. Hamstrings can be minor or devastating (avulsion fractures). We don't know how bad it is unless they tell us, but the fact they're putting him on IR is a pretty good clue.

They say no concussion for McCain. He is out for tonight's preseason finale.

That's hard to believe.   I've seen basketballs that don't bounce that high upon impact on the court.

Giants led the league in sacks until the Broncos played last night. They are 2 behind them with one less game.

That's what the mainstream media wants you to think. Pumping up NY teams drives ratings.

Well said.  The lack of play action is a complete mystery to me.  Makes zero sense.

Play action out of the shotgun doesn't really work the same as under center, or even the pistol.  So, since we play predominantly from the shotgun...

Right, the mainstream media is fudging the publicly available sack numbers to pump up ratings. I agree that this is definitely happening.

Baun and Sweat lead the Eagles with 2 sacks.  Dexter Lawrence has 7 sacks by himself.  They also have Burns, Thibodeaux, Ojulari and others.

Hurts had better get his TT throw metric well under 3 seconds this week.

If he's an average pass rusher (according to the PFF chart) and an above average run stopper (which he has been at times, but not consistently), he's fine for his role.

If he's only on the field for <40% of the snaps... that's not good enough.    He played only 21 snaps against the Browns (37%).  That's not enough.  It is ridiculous to trade up in round 1 to draft a guy and then play him for so few snaps.   Meanwhile, a guy that fell into their laps in Round 3, that at least one person in the front office was very high on... we flipped back 3 spots and missed out on that guy and landed Milton Williams.  How much better would this defense be right now with Alim McNeil lining up in it?  McNeill plays about 75%+ of the snaps.   And had they landed McNeil in Round 3 in 2021, they wouldn't have had to overpay for Davis in Round 1 of 2022.

But, yeah, let's pay extra for a guy that can barely hit 50% of the snaps and isn't the game wrecker that McNeill is.

We're definitely getting Becton or Steen at LT, next week if not this week. No way they roll with Fred Johnson for 4 games.

Eh, Fred Johnson has played well. We'll see I think they roll with him.

We were watching last week and Burns (#0) is a player.  If he is going against Fred, that is a big mismatch.  He will need help from Mr.-I-Can't-Block.

Do people actually watch this and enjoy this? Dude is a cartoon character. Modern sports talk shows are just garbage.

Wow.  Cam looks like a straight pimp.
