Honestly, I see these plays as failures of Jones in both cases. In that first play, if the throws that comeback with anticipation, it's likely a completion based on how Q got turned around and fell 2 steps behind on Nabors. In the second play, he's got Robinson open in the flat, though I'm not sure on the down and distance there, so he might've been trying to force it downfield to move the sticks. These plays probablys aren't sacks against good QBs.

I remember in 2023 it was said they were going to do a new design for the jersey in 2024

Guess that didn't happen

I'm not in the mood to entertain Hurts haters today, but I'll say this, there was some glazing for Lamar last night over how much better he is than Hurts as a passer.   Agholor is the Ravens #3 WR and has 8 catches on the season. That's only 2 more than Dotson's 6. Neither have a TD.

On the first one, he would have had to make the throw when his back foot set on the drop back.  It looks to me like that was primary read and he just didn't have confidence in the throw.  I think Q still would have been able to make a play on the receiver if not the ball, but it's a likely completion.  On the second one, he had Robinson in the flat but that wasn't anywhere near where he was looking. Q saw Robinson and I think would have stopped him short or made a play on the ball.

Yea in the first play, that's a throw a lot of seasoned QBs will make without question. Could be that he doesn't yet have that level of chemistry/trust with the rookie WR, but it's an incompletion at best, rather than a sack for us against better QBs.

And yeah no clue what the down and distance was on the second play, but if it wasn't third down, again I see that as a failure of Jones more than anything. You can't go broke taking a profit. That being said, as a defense, you still need to be good enough to capitalize on mistakes, and we finally did that on Sunday.

Eagles +2.5 in Cincy Sunday..

Lamar has been a better passer this year than Hurts

Why are you repeating what we all know? The argument was that the #3 WR isn't getting enough targets, I'm simply pointing out that that's the case for most teams in the league.

Eagles have never won in Cincy in history and it's one team the all time record is really bad for whatever reason. 3-9-2. Doesn't really have any bearing on this weeks game but its just weird how poorly Eagles play against them.

Because you added the "glazing" as if you disagreed with the posts. If you didn't then never mind and my mistake

Oh - let's midget our way to a super bowl.

Yeah he’s a midget but he’s a lot better than hurts. He also throws over the middle. How he sees over the oline is beyond me.

Vic publicly saying he doesn't want Cooper on ST so he can stay healthier for his defense is the type of honesty I appreciate.

nah, I'm simply throwing that in to show that even the frontrunner for MVP isn't getting his #3 WR a ton of targets.

Green it is.

the "icey white" trend is one of the most boring things to happen to uniforms in a long time. When's the last time the Eagles wore black socks with their white pants? Every week it seems like team in all dark head to toe vs team in all white head to toe. No more contrasting colors, striped socks etc.

You know it's bad when Notre Dame ditches the gold pants.

It would be better for them both to sit out the first two months of the season, if you could guarantee that they both were healthy for a playoff run.   Of course, there's no way to guarantee it... but if you can only have them for 50 or 60 games... better they be the last 50 or 60.

When it comes to Embiid and George, do you really need to capitalize "out"?  Isn't it assumed?

Anyone can cherry pick one draft pick with the advantage of 20/20 hindsight.

So how do you value landing one of the best safeties in the NHL as a UDFA?

Blankenship?!? You can’t be serious

Say what one will about the failures of Quez but at a minimum  he threatened a defense with his deep speed, that had to be accounted for, no one is scared a dotson getting behind them.
