People really think he'd be better on a different team?

Carolina is awful.  Maybe a change in scenery might do him some good.

Who do you think Eagles realistically might actually make a run at via trade?

Howie has done it every year we’ve been competitive iirc. Jay ajayi, Golden Tate, Michael Bennett, Kevin Byard, and who was that DE we traded for who stayed last on the depth chart. From the Bears, on the tip of my tongue… was it Robert Quinn? Dont remember because he never played

Seeing the consensus of Carolina being an awful franchise, I thought it would be a good time to remind ourselves of how lucky we are to have a competent owner.

Below are the leading franchise winning percentages through last season, beginning in 1994, when Lurie purchased the Eagles.  The teams with asterisks have had at least one Hall of Fame or MVP quarterback during that span.

Has any franchise had a QB transition the way Packers have? Not saying Love is going to be but the idea is pretty insane to think about

Chargers have gone from Brees to rivers to Herbert. Frankly Herbert is dealing with this as his weapons this year

That's even more disheartening.  You solve the franchise QB problem, but can't seem to figure out the rest.

Not sure that can be counted when Chargers had Rivers in between. Rivers had a lot of stats but no rings

I'm still a believer but he hasn't been helped much by the team

It's infuriating when I see plays get blown up because Calcaterra can't block. And it's not a one time thing. And you're right about it happening multiple times yesterday. I think it comes down to poor play calling. Sure, a play may look great when you scheme it up. But you also have to account for the person who the "X" on the play design represents. Sure, it's designed for your X to block their O, but if your X is simply incapable of doing so, why even bother to call the play?

On the third down pass to Saquon where he steamrolled the first Giant, Hurts came off at least his first read (though it might have been the second) because Calcaterra blocked initially and then released but never turned to look for the ball. Hurts clearly wanted to go to him but Calcaterra wasn’t aware. He was wide open for a first down but didn’t look back. For those who think Hurts can’t read or go through progressions, check that play out again. I’ll bet the coaches gave Calcaterra an earful about that play.

I would take a chance on Dan Jones if the Giants finally give up on him in a year or two.

He actually looks better to me, but he has 1 WR, no TE and an awful OL. Imagine him on the Eagles.

Depends on how McKee develops, but I think he'd be better than PIckett.

Commanders release 2021 first-rounder Jamin Davis.

They really need to invest in real TEs.

Calcaterra is a big WR, not even a H-back, if you can't block in space, you're pretty limited.

This is probably why they've hung onto to Albert O, he has the physical skills, they're still hoping to coach him up.

I mean rivers has a chance to make the HOF. I can’t really argue that was a swing and a miss on the Qb position. I’d argue he also had a bad owner and played in the afc peak Brady, Big Ben and manning for much of his career

It wouldn't matter what time of day it was played - PSU ain't beating OSU

I thought the same thing with Oregon.

Ohio St is loaded, don't get me wrong, but their QB is probably their weak spot on offense.  Not saying he's bad or anything but he can make some mistakes.

You never know with Howie 😄

But yeah he might just suck.

They are either really lucky when it comes to QBs or they have a great scouting department for the position.

Eh. I kind of believe hall of fame should be more premier and selective of who gets in
