I’d argue the only reason Eli is getting in is due to those two super bowls. Frankly believe rivers numbers and consistency was superior to Eli outside of those two SB runs

More luck than anything.  The Falcons drafted Favre, but Glanville was one of the most idiotic head coaches in NFL history and decided he would refuse to play him.  Packers traded for him (with a pick they got from the Eagles, coincidentally).

Rodgers sitting on the board until pick #24 is a lot more good fortune than astute drafting -- although GB used good sense in drafting for the future rather than immediate need.

It looks great from afar, but since 1992, they've either had Brett Favre, Aaron Rodgers or Jordan Love at QB. 2 HOF QBs over the course of 30 years and they only have 2 Super Bowl wins to show for it.

Thats what the Eagles would need to do to have a chance but given how well they play the Eagles and how much better they are this year than they usually are, that seems highly unlikely.

Philip Rivers absolutely belongs in the Hall of Fame IMO. Top 5 passing yards, TDs and completions. Top 12 QB rating and top 14 completion percentage.

The no SBs or MVPs might screw him over, but he would get the nod if it were up to me.

I wouldn't argue against him getting in, but I also wouldn't be upset if he didn't. 

So what's wrong with Hunter Renfro? The Saints, Chiefs, 49ers and Bucs all have enormous holes at WR and no one is calling him. I know he's a slot guy, but he's a damn good slot guy.

I have to assume that the available roster spot is going to go to Driscoll. He’s been activated the last two weeks anyway. It’s obvious they prefer him over our other backups. May as well make it official.
