Im calling BS on the stafford and Kupp rumors. The rams are a playoff team when healthy. Now theyre healthy.

Pass was incomplete. Still amazed me.

Wentz did this consistently for 1 season in his MVP year before the awful injuries and the concussion from Clowney that probably ended his career. That’s the only season of my entire 43 year old life I’ve watched our own QB actually survey and scan the field correctly and go through progressions. McNabb couldn’t do it.  Hurts didn’t do it in ‘22 either, but it was the perfect 1 read offense for him until it was figured out in 1 offseason.

Agree just weird they were both there last year and 7-10. Then they lose their starting QB, Hicks, Hunter and Davenport. Only sign Aaron Jones and Van Ginkel who are good but not studs and Gilmore who’s old. They barely had a draft and lost their QB of the future. They are just clicking on all cylinders and don’t even have their TE back yet.

7-10 was a good season last year for them given the circumstances of Cousins getting hurt. What he’s done with Darnold this season has been great. Will easily be coach of the year unless they implode.

Captain of the team and the vocal leader they need. I wish he was here his entire career because he’d go down as an all time Eagle great. They’d be 1-5 at best without him right now. A great signing by Howie and worth every cent of that contract. 

 

There is tons of PI from these Minnesota CBs. Not just that one on the TD. Uncalled stuff too. They look like theyre playing like the legion of Boom secondary daring the refs to call a flag on every play.

I have no stake in the outcome of this game but there is something satisfying about watching Vikings fans get their hopes crushed.

That should be reviewable. But also the official in the back is looking directly at it when it happened. Like I don’t know how you miss his hand on his face mask and you’re just staring at it lol

When they got rid of the 2 different severities of facemask penalties, it sorta became a discretionary thing, whether it should be called or not depending on how bad it looks.

Byron Young might have had a pinky hooked in the bottom bar of the facemask there. He didnt grab it and purposely yank his neck around.

theyre thinking just get the ball back to the rams so they can kneel. This one is over. Not calling the most minor facemask in the history of the NFL to give a 1st down and prolong this game.

Obvious facemask on biggest play of game? No flag.

WR half a step off the line? OL half a yard downfield? Inconsequential ticky tack hold across the field to wipe off a scoring play? Make it rain baby.

If the rams somehow go to Seattle and win that game, there’s a chance they’re in first place (if Buffalo beats Seattle this week).  they gave Detroit in week 1 all they could handle and they were down multiple offensive lineman, cornerbacks, and nacua got hurt in the first half of that game.

biggest play of the game? It was a 2 score game with less than 2 minutes left and the Vikings were backed up almost on their goal line (the play resulted in a safety).

The facemask was an incidental facemask which isnt really meant to be called once the rule changed to get rid of the 5 yard variety of facemask calls.

The refs didnt sell this game. The Vikings did when they couldnt score a TD since their 2nd drive of the game. And when they let the rams, who were already up by 1, go score another TD and get up by 8.  And when they let their QB get sacked in the end zone on their final attempt.

I think makes sense as they were gaging the market in case they lost this game and potentially week 9 in Seattle. I don’t think it was close to making a deal but i do think they were willing to move guys if they got to the deadline and were 2-6 and reporters ran with they were listening to offers.
