We have a party house so everyone invites themselves over every weekend. Only 2 of them are mine. The rest are ugly.

Another depressing realization. @e-a-g-l-e-s eagles! Just watching Soto during his at bat, you can literally see in his face how bad he wants to get a hit and win.  Then he hit into a double play.  Don’t care.   I want that guy on the Phillies…even though it probably wouldn’t be enough.  No cap. Not my money. Get more people like that.

I really do pair wine with food. But it is nonsense IMHO that red doesn’t go with poultry.  Red should never be chugged though.  Personally, I am impressed you have wine left when the meal arrives. That’s usually when I ask the waiter for a second glass of wine.

Yeah i think he stays with the Yankees. Frankly i think arenado is a target as Bohm is from the Midwest and closer to St. Louis and Phillies in win now mode and not wanting to pay Bohm in two years. Frankly I’d go after Kyle Tucker. He can play LF and he’s an all star player. He’s a FA at the end of 2025. Chance Bregman leaves and the Astros need a 3B so Bohm has value there.

for everything Freddie has gone through this year with his kid and family, he deserves it. He’s a good guy. One of the few Braves i didn’t hate.

It’s LA. I expect nothing less. That said good for Freddie. He’s gone through a ton this year with his family. I’m actually happy for him. He’s a genuinely good guy.
