those options stink. i mean...put in for guerrendo even though you won't get him, of course. charbs & akers are probably in the same tier as vidal so idk if i'd bother...and def wouldn't use a waiver on them.

I know for a fact one of the people ahead of me has a claim in but point taken.

What about Williams?  Especially with Hill dead.

Oh, and if I win, I get a first round bye. No pressure.

I’m almost thinking Akers over Williams.  ATL allows a lot of catches to RBs.

I'm not burning a claim for any of those guys. They all suck. Charbonnet is a TD or bust. He has had 4 carries in both games over the last fortnight, including one against the Cards. They're content with feeding Williams.

Ford is the clear favourite in passing situations for the Browns, although he Chubb is the guy they'll feed when they need a redzone TD. I'd go after him playing the Steelers. They could be chasing a lead in that game which means more Ford

RB's against the Chiefs is also a bad idea

What do you think about Williams or Akers over Vidal, regardless of waiver

Unless Kamara is out, Williams isn't worth rostering. I think he is washed anyway

Akers I've never been a fan, but you need a Jones injury to see the field and Ty Chandler sees the receiving work in that scenario.

I'd stick with Vidal long term with Dobbins out and Edwards not being very good. He could start seeing more of those carries down the stretch

@paco  This.

You lose every chance you don’t take. So try for Guerendo if nothing else.

Long term I don’t disagree.

But given this is a win and in situation for a first round bye, I’m more concerned with just this week.  My RB1 and RB3 are on bye so this will be my RB2 for the week unfortunately.

Ford is the guy I'd target for this week based on floor. He will give you the best opportunity with points in the passing game. This is assuming that it's PPR, if it's not I'd go one of Akers/Charb

Guerendo is the only claim I'd put in. I'd then hold out and hope Ford is available as a FA

Ok, @toolg, @Mat and @mr_hunt  (and anyone else)

I need a RB in the worst way for this week only.  I'm currently down to Bucky and Vidal.  I thought Vidal would get a good amount of carries last week so I dropped Cam Akers for him but that didn't materialize.  On top of that, his matchup this week is TERRIBLE.

Here is what is available:

This is how I rank them this week:

Irving, Guerendo - Startable
Vidal - Flex-worthy. Considering he should split work with Gus Edwards, who didn't impress much last week with Dobbins on IR.
Charbonnet, Ford, Akers, Williams - Are really just handcuffs. I don't think they are much help for you this week.
Blackshear? Against the Eagles defensive front? You must be crazy.

I saw this:

And it got me thinking.... and throw out the FAAB for a second and just go with normal waiver claims.

Is it a dick move for people that have been eliminated to make moves for top waiver claims?  Or is it a good thing that your league is competitive to the end so that teams that are fighting for playoff position and possibly byes arn't screwed over because someone else in contention gets an unofficial bye going against a team that quit on the season?

i think it's fine for eliminated teams to make roster moves...until the playoffs start.

Eliminated teams should stay active.

I am totally in favor of the guy spending 100% of his FAAB on Gurendo. He is still in the league. He can make the move.

That’s how ive felt too but that meme made me think maybe i was being  an a hole this whole time

Ok, DFS question

 Will Dissly and Marquez Valdes-Scantling

or

Cade Otton and Braelon Allen

Obviously this isn’t a question if Hall plays. Also, its 0.5 ppr

Allen and Otten. Hall is now doubtful

I'm thinking of doing two lineups around a core group:

QB: Sam Darnold
RB: Braelon Allen, Isaac Guerendo
WR: Justin Jefferson, Drake London
DEF: Eagles

Then have one line up with
WR: Brian Thomas Jr
TE: Cade Otton
Flex: Tony Pollard

And a second with
WR: Khalil Shakir
TE: Will Dissly
Flex: Kyren Williams

@paco Ken Walker is out. Start Charbonnet!

Najee Harris (against Cleveland) or Aaron Jones (against Atlanta) tomorrow?

Aaron Jones?

You would play Jones over Harris tomorrow?

Gun to my head…. Jones

He was a Wednesday waiver claim.

But I was able to swap Allen out for him in my two DFS lineups.

49ers D/ST vs the Bears or the Bills vs the Rams? Bills have a tougher matchup, but the 49ers have been ass

Bonus question, if I am picking a player for double points, it would be Barkley over Hurts with the matchup right? Or does Hurts get a couple TD's in short yardage?

Normally I would reflexively say niners but good god they last few weeks they have been horrible.  They did feast on some bad teams but that was early in the year.

Sounds like you are doing a showdown?  I was wrestling with that too but I’m thinking of doing Hurts instead and getting Gainwell in the lineup.

Same here, the Bears have been poor on offense and are pass happy, but the 49ers suck on both sides of the ball. I wouldn't be shocked if they lose that game

My salary cap league lets me pick a captain. That player scores double points. I get two bites of the cherry and I'm looking at one of Hurts/Barkley and if they have a poor game I'll go with one of Kyren Williams/Chase. I feel like Barkley is the play and if he flops I go with Chase
