Started well and notched 2 nice goals on pretty pass plays and drives to the net.  Isles have taken control and are grinding their way back into the game.  Bad D mistake on the Isles' goal for both Dmen to chase the puck carrier and let a player gain position for an open close quarters shot on goal. 

 

So much for an early 2 goal lead.  So where is the spark going to come from?  Or are the Isles just going to take over the game now?  Well, they did get some shots on goal after coughing up the lead, but now back on the PK.

 

Different game, different lineup, same garbage.

These fuchin refs suck. Obvious hold on A-K but he gets called.

I feel like the Flyers have spent the entire second period in the d-zone.

Good thing our leading goal scorer is sitting at home.

When you bench a guy like TK for a guy like Morin you get what you deserve. Wtf was AV thinking?

TK has played like crap the last 3 games, he'll likely be in tomorrow. Laughton with great patience on the GWG and a great play and pass by ghost 

Good D play by Ghost to read and breakup that play and win the puck.  Laughton with great patience to wait out the goalie and bury the GW goal.  They got outplayed most of the game, only 17 shots on goal, but they managed to pickup the 2pts.

Unfortunately the two that have been playing the worst, Patrick and hayes, can't really be benched unless they put G in the middle and put Morin in the buttom 6 again. Depth at center is a real problem right now with frost and coots out

Honestly the problem was like Hartsy was saying in the 1st intermission. They’re not chopping their feet. 
 

On the back check they’re not pressuring the opponent, which is fine, but if you’re not doing that you have to play positional hockey, which they are not. They’re letting guys slide in the back side of the slot for the cross ice one timer. They need to Fin realize that people are coming in the back door. 
 

and they’ve gotta start getting pucks on net. They keep looking for the perfect pass. If a pass is there, pass. If not then just shoot. Even if they’re not close to getting in, more shots means the ice is tilted. 
 

also they’re lame sauce about moving the puck up the ice. Get the damn puck and fire that crap up the ice. Look what happened last night. Ghost bear stole it and then immediately fired it up ice. And we got a goal.

When did the flyers start modeling their game after Ben Simmons where they just don’t shoot? Like it’s ridiculous they are being outshot on the season by over 100 shots.

They are playing a lot like they did in the bubble during the playoff portion. They were outshot most of the time and they managed to either hold onto leads or somehow manage to be in the game to send it to overtime and find a victory. This is eerily similar to the hockey we saw against the habs and islanders then.
