I hope he never gets another broadcasting gig I think it was an experiment for NBCSN anyway. He wasn't doing games prior to covid, was he? And are we done with the local guys? Did I hear Jim Jackson say they were doing Tuesday's game or is it national teams from now on?

Pretty sure he was only doing intermission reports before, and he was just as terrible and clueless Unfortunately just national guys now, but thankfully without that brainless moron Millbury

Literally Stephen a smith on ESPN said players should be allowed one female Access to the bubble for sexual purposes and conjugal visits cause it’s necessary for the players being in the bubble that long and helps to relieve the stress of living in the bubble. So that imo was acceptable then this is in the same boat yet people found a way to say it was offensive but smith’s comments weren’t. Probably because no one watches screamin A smith.

August 23, 20205 yr I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I don’t know what the person in the Gritty costume and the person running the twitter account get paid, but I know it isn’t enough!

August 24, 20205 yr Honestly I’d do that in a heartbeat. I feel like ghost isn’t longed for here. Laughton sucks to lose but i rather have gaudreu and the first hurts but if we are picking 28-30 I’m good with it.

I like him as a 3rd line type of guy but if i got gaudreu I’m making that move all the time. Ghost to me is expendable as i think they are gonna move him anyway especially with York and Z in the minors coming up. The first is a late first so it doesn’t really hurt as bad. Not only that the trade actually saves them 500k in salary cap.

I went back and forth on this a lot, but at the end of the day I think it would be a good trade if AV thinks he fits the system. I think most of our prospects on the wings are middle six type prospects at best so I don't think he would be blocking anyone as he got older. Farabee, Lindblom, and TK are top sixers, after that I don't really know who has that potential. Laughton is a really good bottom six forward but I think rubstov could be that. Ton of d propects so ghost could go. The first round pick would hurt the most

At that point I don’t think you need JVR and he’s taking up a bunch of cap space and he wouldn’t be in the top 6. Frankly i am not sure what team would want his contract considering he appeared to be on the decline this year and is 31 with 3 years left on his deal. I think it’s likely going to be a team trying to reach the cap floor and you are likely going to have to send a pick for them to do so.

August 24, 20205 yr I think the Flyers have taken over as the best all around franchise in the city right now. Carter Hart is going to end up one of the most beloved Philly Athletes.

If you would’ve asked me three years ago I probably would’ve said the Sixers but with everything going on with the Sixers or the Phillies and even the Eagles, the Flyers are set up best for long-term success. Even with some of those big money contracts to some aging guys, they are going to be able to get out of them at some point and be able to add players into this young nucleus when they’re in their primes
