+10000/1 coots scores tomorrow.

Yea, if he plays, he absolutely will.

I'm sure Barzal will play.  Just needs a couple stitches, I'd think.

Man, that first Islanders goal last night with him standing in the crease was indescribable BS.  Sure, he’s pushed in — but you have to make an effort to leave the crease and he never did, which contributed to the goal.  To end up with a PP out of it is doubly ridiculous.

That’s the second time the Flyers have been royally screwed over by the dumb challenge rule — in both of their wins.

Yeah not only did he not try to get out of the crease, but he was holding Provorov’s stick while they were in there, not allowing him to get out of the way either. Absolute garbage goal.

I think the only shot we got at this game is if Hart steals it by playing lights out.  We know he can make the big saves.  He just has to not let in any weak ones.

So, what are people's confidence levels for tonight? Honestly, mine's pretty low.

This team seems to play better when no one expects anything......I don't expect anything so......6-1 Flyers victory tonight and of course......they spit the bit in game 7.

First period will tell us everything IMO. Did scoring last game get Giroux and JVR going? Never know when one goal can spark a guy who has been in a slump. If Giroux and JVR are buzzing in the first period, I think there is a good chance they win.

Also Coots playing would obviously make me feel better.

Laughton played well with G and Jake, so might not be bad to have them together if Coots is out.  Question is who do they bring up to replace him and which line does he play on?

What’s the deal with Raffl?

If coots is out only one way AV can go

Thought he was still hurt.  Can't imagine he was a healthy scratch last game.

BTW, think I might wash, rinse and repeat and not actually watch the game, but follow the box scores and hopefully they jump out to a lead so I can comment that we got this then they blow it in regulation to win it in OT.  I did watch the OT.  Sound good?

If I had to guess Barzal plays and Couts does not. We’ll see what AV does if Couts can’t play. Without Couts I’m more worried. But I’m about 40/60 going into this game on the win/loss feeling right now.  I’m still hopeful, would love to see them get out to an early lead and not let up but they just haven’t put together a full clean game since the round robin.

Agreed with the early sentiment, especially if Couturier is out, that Hart needs to steal us a game. He’s done it before but he’s also let them slip back in. That said, he was locked in during an elimination OT. I feel like he has the ability to carry that over this game.

Just get to Game 7 then anything can happen.

I’ll go so far as to say that if they do manage to win tonight, they win game 7. Got to play with a team’s psyche to have an opponent come back from 3-1 to push a game 7. Starting to get the feel of the ‘09/‘10 semifinals against Boston... my memory is a little hazy a decade later, but I seem to remember that series being very similar to this one in a lot of ways.

Coots wasn’t at the morning skate so likely a no go.

Yeah it has a similar feeling but remember back then, they were down 3-0. When they won game 4, I was pretty meh about it but said if they won game 5, its a whole new series and sure enough, that was their momentum for the rest of the series.

The difference was in that series, we got Gagne Back In game 4 and Krecji was knocked out of the series in Game 3.  That swing played a major role in the comeback.  That being said,  that team just found a way win games that series and even game seven collapsed before rebuilding again. Win tonight and it’s anybody’s series.
