If they could unwad their knickers, take a Midol, and get off their ridiculous social media feeds, they'd realize that they're half responsible for the fact that the world has to deal with a second term of this guy in the first place. Yeah... we get it, he's orange. Oh and also he's orange. Did I mention he's orange? He'll handcuff his own agenda by the time the next US midterms roll around if the very intelligent resistance warriors could be just a little more strategic. Instead they're like an army of Veruca Salts. This sounds nice but Trump does not lose to a sober and competent opponent. Left wing histrionics didn't hand the White House to Trump. It was inflation and bad candidates. Obama would have waxed the floor with Trump in 2024.

I deliberately used the qualifier "half responsible" to preempt any accusation that I was laying it all on the fringe left but I guess I failed. This is why I usually just fertilizer-post (hat-tip to @Dave Moss) instead of trying to participate. Maybe 25% +/- 17.5% responsible? It's always good to have error bars. Obama had his flaws but was even-keeled, sane, and more balanced than he gets credit for. He was also remarkably scandal free. I'll bet he could have gone four or five terms before getting sick of the job. Can you do me a solid? Can you make a post tagging @Gannan and tell him I said Obama will clean Trump's clock in 2024? If you do, I'll make another $69 donation to the EMB.

But I'll bet Americans protesting Russian universities would be. I'd rather be leaning to Western ideals than Russian. Basically if foreigners are over here causing trouble, it shouldn’t be a big surprised when their visas get revoked. They’re basically guests here. It shouldn’t be customary for a guest to insult their host

So again if that's all they're going with they've WAY overstepped Meh if that is what the law says then they should follow the law. This ranks pretty low on Trumps over steps for me though. I l remember that they even tried to deport John Lennon for speaking out against the war in Vietnam, so this isn’t exactly new.

Did they snag him off the street and throw him into a jail without any due process? Not the same thing at all. SCOTUS has ruled here and Trump needs to comply.

That was also over 50 years ago, and even then it was a stupid thing to do.

March 30Mar 30 There as been a lot of talk about what hills the democrats should be willing to die on. Free surgeries for trannys, and fighting to protect the rights of foreigners who support terrorists shouldn't be those hills. I don't want to give up social security, cancer research or see kids go hungry so Musk can buy another yacht and write it off as a tax break. I shouldn't have to choose between the 2.

I think the First amendment and due process is a pretty reasonable hill to die on man c'mon. You sound like Procus right now.

March 30Mar 30 33 minutes ago, Gannan said: fighting to protect the rights of foreigners who support terrorists Everyone is entitled to due process, or should we believe that someone is "supporting terrorists,” because Rubio says they are? If a court determines an individual is supporting terrorism, strip them or their VISA and send them back home. Sorry, but if you don’t fight for the basic rights for everyone, you are fighting for no one.
