I have a family member firmly in the Trump camp. Several weeks ago I was visiting and talking one on one with them. While I don't remember the exact conversation we were having at one point they said "Plus will all the money now coming in". I asked "What money are you referring to" expecting the answer to be tariff income. "Well, with all the jobs coming back on shore now" was the answer, to which I just nodded and smiled. (I wasn't looking to get in a debate, just wanted to understand their POV and move on)

I'm guessing that's where the 33% is. Assuming that tariffs are forcing companies to bring manufacturing back home, creating jobs, etc.

Yep. They are expecting the tariffs to bring factories back here. That's the line of thinking.
