Imagine being mad about Trump stopping this kind of dem spending. It's a cult of the dumbest people on the planet. No other explanation.

Interesting to see if we can get any significant push back whatsoever by the Republican Senators when Trump attempts to walk all over Congress.  Grassley did push back on the lack of 30-day notice prior to Trump firing the Inspectors General employees.  I haven't seen any of them question the Trump grant freeze.

Who in the hell are the 4% with no opinion of Trump? What, you haven't seen enough media coverage of him to have an opinion??

Somehow you think this nut bag is qualified because he cited a flawed study?  OK let's go with that.  All studies have limitations

Finally, a government that is working for the American people. Homan is taking his job seriously. And how about Karoline Leavitt? She knows how to handle the press! It’s refreshing to actually see things happening other than lip service out of Washington, DC.

Trump rescinded the order yesterday, after the courts blocked it on Tuesday.

What's left for them to say? Other than everyone was confused for a couple of days? They won't admit that.

He didn't rescind the order.  The WH rescinded the email memo but the executive order stands.

I like how the dipsheet Cassidy two seconds later perfectly illustrates Paul's point by saying "well, actually in the extremely rare case the mother is Hep B positive, vaccinating a one day old is a good thing!" Our government is made up of a bunch of clowns.

Right.

The EO Trump signed references stuff like the woke agenda and the Green New Deal. Fine. He can block that. No spending has been authorized by Congress in the name of the "Green New Deal". He can block funding authorized by the Wizard of Oz too. It doesn't exist. He cannot block grants in the budget already approved by Congress.

Here is more clarification from the White House: https://www.whitehouse.gov/fact-sheets/2025/01/omb-q-a-regarding-memorandum-m-25-13/

Still confused? Yes. We all are.

The bottom line is that the WH has asserted that they can broadly decide on what to execute and not execute regarding funding decisions already made by Congress.  That is a Constitutional challenge.
