Exactly. It’s not Communism when Republicans do it. I don’t understand why everyone says it is. Republicans say bad things about Communism so they literally can’t be Communists.

They were for lowering spending, then they were for raising it.

They were against regime change wars, now they’re for regime change wars.

They were for gun rights, then they said the government can kill you just for carrying a gun.

They are Christians but now they think it’s funny when their entire religion is mocked.

They were against socialism, now they think it’s great.

It’s almost as if they stand for absolutely nothing and just blindly agree with whatever the government tells them.

Sandy Vag.

Calling Trumps Spirit loan communism is straight clown crap. Communism is the government owning everything forever. This is a 500 million dollar loan to keep 14000 jobs alive and stop fares from exploding. Its a temporary bailout not Karl Marx taking over the cockpit. Like I said we've done this with airlines and car companies for decades without turning into Cuba. Relax its not that deep

Loan my a**. He wants to nationalize it.

President Donald Trump said Thursday that he would consider purchasing the embattled Spirit Airlines "if we can get it at the right price.”

Trump says a lot of things, but this is just a 500 million dollar loan so taxpayers get something back if it works. That’s not the government taking over forever like Cuba. This isn't nationalizing, it’s just a bailout. Relax with the communism talk. Take deep breaths. **** the sand out.

Good point. And honestly, real communism’s never been tried. It’ll probably work for Trump.

So, for the Super Bowl last year, I had my assistant book a flight from LA to New Orleans after the NFCCG and the only direct flight was Spirit. I was nauseous but told her to book their version of 1st class (something called "Go Big"). A few days later, Delta added flights and I had her book that immediately. She asked what I wanted to do with my credit on Spirit, and I told her to try and offer it to anyone who wanted it. Pretty sure I still have it.

The problem I have with Spirit isn't how they nickle and dime every pax over luggage, or how you only get half a tray table, or how there's no in-flight entertainment, or how there's no leg or a** room, nor the lack of quality food. Nor is it even the fact that the flight attendants spend half the flight hawking the Spirit credit card.

My biggest gripe is that every time the plane hits the slightest bit of turbulence, all the poors on the plane who never flew before freak out thinking that it's the end. Flew them once because "hey how bad can it be?" Never again.

Felt like Bill Burr in this skit, except the turbulence was light chop.

What a weak ass statement. That's why you don't agree wirh the SAVE Act because people have to go pay $12 to get an ID? So everything is good though? You agree the SAVE Act should be passed just not that people should be required to pay for an ID?

The Act violates the constitution. That is it mate. Are you suggesting the constitution doesn’t matter?

Bailouts are "lite Socialism”

I like that you're perfectly fine with elections being rigged haha and you seem to have zero clue how clueless you are. Fascinating honestly

Do you believe Trump won in ‘20?

Lol it's a loan but my mental illness over Trump makes me have to say communism to some degree.

Doesn’t matter if it is a loan. State involvement at that level is what it is and it is certainly not capitalism.

I'm sure you cried as hard the last few decades when it's happened through multiple admins when it wasn't a loan.

You’re arguing vibes, not definitions

Bailouts are always a form of lite Socialism in my book and if the govt gets any commitment on future returns it further muddies the waters. Not a vibe mate. It is real taxpayer money involved.

You keep calling it socialism like that word just means ‘thing I don’t like.’

I didn’t offer any opinion yet on whether I liked it or not. I would rather not have any of the bailouts generally and I’m not big on Socialism though I make an exception on health care. What about you? You were good with all the earlier bailouts and programs, e.g. TARP?

I get why they’re used in crises. That doesn’t mean I’m cheering for them
