Fans are likely spamming their pages with negative comments so they're using the same "I was presented with an opportunity to perform at a nonpartisan event"

What's funny to me is there are bands that are very political and open about their politics that likely would have been better

Yeah, this isn't exactly the administration of "unity" so the 250th is obviously wasted. Not really a big deal, this country has had plenty of growing pains. At the end of the day, we're only 250 years old.

As mike said, some might be changing due to fan reaction. Others didn't agree to it, but they put them on the marketing. For some they were likely promised things that turned out to be false, or told it was a patriotic anniversary celebration but realized it's meant to celebrate Trump.

The funny thing is some of them never did. Millie never agreed to it. One of them is even dead. I think Trump‘s people just put a whole bunch of people on the list that they thought they could lure in. He severely overestimated his fan base once again.

The only people not pulling out are the dads that could have made a difference by doing so.
