Posted November 7, 2024Nov 7 I don't think we have one of these yet so.... Got a trade offer. Looks pretty even but wanted to get input from the gallery ( @Mat @toolg ) Tank Bigsby and Calvin Ridley for Courtland Sutton and Rhamondre Stevenson We start 2 RBs, 3 WRs and a flex. Here is how I currently look at each position: RB Derrick Henry Bucky Irving Tank Bigsby Cam Akers WR CeeDee Lamb Michael Pittman Jr. Calvin Ridley Jaxon Smith-Njigba Xavier Worthy Christian Watson As you can see, RB2 is a bit of a hole for me. Stevenson is a locked in starter...... but he's been held to under 3 yards per carry recently and has had fumble issues early on in the season, so I do fear going forward he could be demoted. I feel like Sutton is a better asset than Ridley but Ridley has come on the last two games.
November 7, 2024Nov 7 i'd do it. the ros rankings i use have ridley & sutton at 40 & 41...but stevenson 6 spots ahead of bigsby. i have tank in my $ league and he's tough to start now that ETN is back...and sutton has been really good the past 2 weeks.

All right, I'm in.
November 7, 2024Nov 7 Yeah, I'd do it. I think Sutton could give you more consistent production than Ridley, who's been up and down. I'd ride Stevenson as RB2 until the wheels fall off. Bigsby is nursing an ankle injury and might be in and out of the lineup. So yeah, i feel Sutton/Stevenson > Bigsby/Ridley
November 8, 2024Nov 8 I just traded Bigsby and Hockenson for Ridley in one league. I was pretty desperate for a WR this week and I have Otten/Kincaid at TE. Bigsby only has value as the starter so trading him for someone like Stevenson is a plus move. Sutton will have that high target share, so he is probably a safe floor option most weeks. Levis is projected to start this week and Ridley had his big games with Rudolph at QB. He is probably a good sell high option if Levis comes in and tanks his scoring

I just got one more interesting one: Jaxon Smith-Njigba for Brian Robinson Jr Currently I have RB Derrick Henry Rhamondre Stevenson Bucky Irving Cam Akers WR CeeDee Lamb Michael Pittman Jr. Courtland Sutton Jaxon Smith-Njigba Xavier Worthy Christian Watson Since I’m not SUPER high on Stevenson, this would relegate him to my flex. But it’s Robinsons that’s the concern. He was on fire prior to it and if he misses more time my flex becomes pretty week choosing between Worthy (ultimate boom-bust play), Watson (has basically been a ghost) or Irving (good for 10 points per game lately. No more, no less)

They tend to nag, so he is a play away from missing significant time. I don't like dealing for damaged goods. Smith-Njigba is on a hot streak. I feel like you could move him for more, but maybe not. I wonder if you should counter with Pittman instead of Smith-Njigba? Since he is banged up too...? Then you RB/Flex Stevenson and Robinson this week, Lamb/Sutton is your WR duo, next week Smith-Njigba comes back fresh off the bye (Assuming you play 2 RB + 2 WR + Flex).... Then the other part of me is, nah, forget it, too much risk. Go with your gut.

I went 2 TEs last week and may need to do it again this week (My TEs are Kincaid, HOF Otton, and Henry)

Can you do Stevenson for Robinson Jr. straight-up? Probably not. How about package up Pittman-Stevenson for Robinson and downgrade at WR, but for a guy who is healthy? Then again, I don't really like damaged goods and you're putting your RB faith into a banged-up Robinson...Stevenson isn't to be trusted either but at least he's relatively healthier.
November 8, 2024Nov 8 Author I replied back to see if he would be interested in a different package. I'm with you, I like Smith-Njigba. Honestly his trade value is a bit inflated right now with DK being out, but even so I drafted him because he is clearly now the new tyler lockett. If he's open I might try to do Worthy + Henry and if he balks at that then go with Pittman.

I should get Stevenson around noon. I think maybe I could do something like Stevenson and Henry for Robinson and a lesser WR since I don't need 3 TEs

And if so, hunt or Tracy? I’m leaning toward Hunt
November 10, 2024Nov 10 It seems to good to pass up. It gives you a ton of options at RB. Almost too RB heavy. Hunt > Tracy
November 10, 2024Nov 10 I started responding to the initial question and got sidetracked. If you made the initial trade you become thin at a postion you need to start 3. Selling high on Smith-Njigba is a good plan, but I think you need to swing a move for a WR once the trades go through. Watson I feel is droppable, I dropped him in our league pretty early in the season and he has sucked for most of the season. Tracy has the role for the whole season, Pacheco will be back which could render Hunt useless. I'd go with Tracy

His WRs are Ja'Marr Chase DeVonta Smith Ray Ray McCloud Jakobi Meyers Should I try to slip Watson or someone in there for McCloud? I doubt he'd give up Meyers but I could start with that.

(Only downside now I have both on Bye this week ) Thank you guys!!
