Here's a funny little stat. If we win the NFC Championship that will put us all time above .500 as a franchise.

Looks like ultimately it’s doomed them to a game against either the Vikings or Lions. It was a decision that almost worked though.

Not sure the rams care as long as Williams, kupp and stafford are healthy going into that game. I’d rather fave the commanders but they went with rather everyone be healthy.

McVay doesn’t care about which seed he is…rest was more important to him

I guess homefield advantage is somewhat meaningless in LA, but still an odd decision. Glad we have this extra week of games, so the backups could get in.

I hope we get Packers @ Eagles on Saturday night but probably won't since lame Flyers have a home game on Saturday night.

Therefore my guess is:

Broncos @ Bills 4:30 Saturday

Steelers @ Ravens 8:30 Saturday

Redskins @ Bucs 1 PM Sunday

Lions/Vikings @ Rams 4:30 Sunday

Packers @ Eagles 8:30 SSunday

Chargers @ Texans MNF

So: us vs Pack. Skins vs Tampa. Lions/Vikings loser vs rams.

They are home either way with the 3 or the 4 seed

McVay just potentially lined up a Minnesota, Detroit, and Philly path through the NFC. He couldnt have asked for anything harder. Complete idiot.

Forgoing the potential for a home game later, I suppose.

I think the person is getting at the fact that fans of visiting teams tend to take over their stadium so they don't have much of a hfa anyway

They already beat Minn, and almost beat Detroit before they lost their D to injuries

Playoffs are a different animal…McVay has proven, more than any other NFC coach, that he kind of knows what he’s doing.

If I had my choice, I'd rather face the Rams in round 2 than the Bucs, but if the Rams had won that game, the Eagles would be in the position where if Washington won @ Rams(which isn't out of the question) then the Eagles would get the Lions or Vikings in round 2. If the Bucs and Eagles win they play the Bucs, no questions asked.

I think it's far less likely Washington goes on the road and beats the Bucs than it is they beat the Rams. But we'll see how it shakes out, Eagles gotta win first. I'd love a chance to redeem that game earlier this season vs the Bucs. Could be a reverse of last year. Eagles beat Bucs in the regular season in week 3, but got smoked in the playoffs. This year, the opposite.

We gonna get some trade offers for McKee in the off-season. Watch

I'd rather get offers for Kenny Pickett.

I prefer the old system, where we'd have clinched the 2 seed in Week 15.  Get the backups in for Week 16... and then HAVE A BYE as the 2 seed!!!

To me it’s more about I rather face the commanders why I’d go for the win in that game. I think the commanders defense is bad. They would have a much easier time winning that game than either Minnesota or Detroit. However, they did beat Minnesota at home early in the season. And they almost beat Detroit in Detroit down like half their offense.

I think the reasoning behind them sitting their important players is because all year they’ve been banged up and they’re finally healthy. But they are gonna pay the price for it

I'm not going to lose sleep over it.  He's a rookie, and he was a 5th round pick for a reason.  He needs to get stronger, and he needs to put in the work in the classroom.  He didn't embarrass himself, but he showed his inexperience and youth today.

but I thought he showed some decent instincts.  so with the extra strength and some experience I think he could be ok.

Unless he has Goff going against Bill B.

We will be first in points allowed and second in yards allowed.

This isn't the same defense that played the Packers week 1.

Absolutely.  He was in position to make the tackles he missed due to not being strong enough at the POA.  I'm not disappointed.

Who would habw guessed that Gannon out lasts Steichen as a HC.

Packers' D isn't the same either... without Alexander.

That’s a tough game for the Bucs. They lost the Cowboys a couple weeks back. Were in a dog fighting with the Saints today who had nothing to play for, Spencer Rattler at quarterback and down their best offensive player in Kamara, olave and it was a game til the last 2 mins. They blew out the panthers but also were in a dog fight with them in the game a couple weeks back. And managed to lose to cousins twice.

id take the Bucs but i think the commanders have a decent shot at winning that game.

I’d say his track record speaks for itself.  Won the SB, and has revamped and fielded a competitive team rather sooner than most expected

Gardner-Johnson has become less of a liability since then. He blew a bunch of big plays in week 1. Now hes more so only a liability in the red zone.

We had Devin White starting, rather than Dean, or Burks.

Baun was in his first game in his new role and quite honestly didnt look that fantastic yet.

There was NO pass rush. Lots of players emerged along the DL. Carter was being talked about as a disappointment through the first few weeks of this season. Sweat wasnt doing anything. Nolan Smith had not emerged. Huff wasnt even getting pressures.

Maddox was starting at Nikel.

GB will see a totally different defense on the field this time. Different, and much better.

Even with that said, the sucky defense that took the field in week 1 only looked as bad as it did because of a few slips on that stupid soccer field.

Better talent, better understanding of the scheme, and better footing. Packers arent going to know who this team is. Not who they saw week 1.
