Think since Darnold is playing bad is why I want Lions to lose tonight. Give the Lions the harder path, Darnold struggles in stressful moments. Both of our biggest threats can be knocked out at end of divisional round

Darnold losing millions of dollars in real time.

Imagine being scared of Darnold.  Our D will destroy him.

Looked like illegal touching.   That ball hit the LT in the knee before it hit the ground.   That was 2 points for the Vikings.

An illegal touching foul requires intent, I think. Doubt being hit in the leg would qualify. Though it probably should've been grounding anyway since the TE wasn't really in the vicinity.

Would have been nice for Minnesota to have the bye. I dont want any chance of Lions getting anyone back from injury after a bye.

Looks like Sunday afternoon

Nice to see another Kutztown kid in the NFL.  Go Golden Bears!!!

5 huge overthrows by Darnold already

1. 2 feet over Hockenson’s head on third down

2. Addison deep shot over his head and behind him

3. Jefferson left corner of the endzone off his fingertips

4. Jefferson middle of the endzone, off his fingers and catches out of bounds

5. Jefferson right corner of endzone wide open

He has the yips. Chuck Knoblach

Article 8. Illegal Touching Of A Forward Pass

It is a foul for illegal touching if a forward pass (legal or illegal) thrown from behind the line of scrimmage:

  1. is first touched intentionally or is caught by an originally ineligible offensive If such a pass is caught, it is a live ball; or

Penalty: Loss of five yards at the previous spot.

That looks like he got it.

Yeah.  I missed that rule change.    Was definitely grounding though, because that ball was spiked into the leg of his OL, not anywhere near his TE.  Though, Gibbs was in the area... practically in Goff's lap.

Yeah. I thought the Lipns would be more likely to lose but it's Minn

wtf was that play for 4th and inches

Two reasons...

I can't stand the Vikings fans.

I think they are more vulnerable to losing at home to the Rams in the second round than the Vikings would be... giving the Eagles the HFA for the NFC CG if they handle their business.

Darnold has been bad tonight.

You give the Rams too much credit.

Silly rule.  Ball was spotted wrong, just not wrong enough and then they lose their challenge.

And a horrible 4th down play by the Lions.   FYI, for me, as an avid Tush Push opponent... THAT was a Tush Push moment... I'm against the Tush Push on 3rd down in that spot on the field... I am ok with it on 4th down in that spot.

Neither team wants to win this.

Batted pass.

I'm not scared of a single team in the NFC North. They all seem like regular season contenders, playoff pretenders

still a dumb play espcially since his int was the result of a batted pass... just run it

Maybe run the ball on occasion inside the 10 ?

The Rams beat the Vikings once (in LA)... and gave the Lions all they could handle before, taking them to OT, in Detroit.   And that was before all the injuries to the Lions' D.   Not sure I am giving them too much credit.  I think you might not be giving the Rams enough.

Vikings get the ball back to start the second half so that missed 4th down and if the Vikings scoring here would be big.

Going up 17-7 before Lions first possession in 3rd would be huge

that missed intentional grounding too

Vikings should really be more concerned with just scoring a TD then the time
