Brady's first move?

Somebody made the point yesterday that Belichick to the Raiders made no sense because if there was anything to it then Telesco would have been fired as well.

Something to monitor, but I suspect it's nothing and he should play.

Damn.  Not good

AJ Brown and getting hurt in practice has been an unstoppable duo this year

Agreed. I don't like feeling too comfortable but I am. It's Eagles game to lose IMO

I heard Orlovsky saying this morning the Packers game plan should be attack early, test the Eagles secondary, get the lead and take Barkley out of the game.  Sounds good, except they don’t have the weapons to do that, and Love may not be healthy enough.

My assumption is the Packers will try to establish Jacobs and the run game to try to shorten the game and limit the number of Eagles possessions.  Hope the Eagles slow start will give them a chance.

I wonder what type of a knee issue he has. He's been dealing with it for a few weeks now.

Jake can't hit kicks and our best receiver is banged up.

Still, Go Birds.

I'd guess just a lingering sprain from when he got hurt against the Jaguars and had the MRI

If you want to know why I always trash Daniels, aside from him being vastly overrated, it's for crap like this. When I talk about propaganda this is exactly what I'm talking about. Even for the dumb people out there who think he's good, if you're putting him in the tier 1 of elite QBs with Mahomes, Jackson, and Allen, you aren't even trying to be remotely objective. You're just pushing BS hype propaganda.

The media is the worst it has ever been. Even putting clickbait nonsense aside, all the media does now is push propaganda for big market teams and whatever coaches, players, and GMs they owe favors to in exchange for information access.

It's so Fing bad. So many people sold their souls to push absolute BS all the time. At least he's not a Cowboy. If he was, all the media would have him in a tier 0 all to his own.

Mahomes should still be in a tier by himself. He's having a down year and almost threw 4k yards with 26TDs

They still have Jayden Reed who had some big plays in Week 1. Thankfully, Maddox isn't starting though.

They don't have the talent to keep up or stop Eagles when the slow start ends though

Maybe, but he wasn't on the injury report until that one day tweaked something in practice.

Whatever happened to that guy who kept talking about Devonta Smith playing Defensive tackle and Cooper Dejean being a kicker and would constantly bring up people’s RAS scores as a rebuttal to everything? That dude just suddenly disappeared one day

Tommy had me as an OL/DB hybrid.

Bill Belichick is going to be a GM/HC for them, watch.

Time to trade AJ this offseason.  Twi playoffs in a row he can't go due to injury.  Had issues staying healthy in Tennessee as well.  Maybe we could trade with Miami for Tyreek.

I thought there would be more penalty for leaving so soon but I guess not

Nah. ‘Almost 4K yards’. A few years ago 4K was the minimum for a good year. Not great…good.

This was a down year for passing. Only 6 QBs were over 4k. Last year had 10. 2022 had 9 over 4k with Mahomes over 5k. 2021 had 10 over 4k with Brady and Herbert over 5k

I noted this a week or so ago…the passing era is over and overall level of qb play has dropped drastically the past 3-5 years.
burrows numbers this year feel like a 6k season though.

Imagine if the Geography Police showed up and made the NFL swap Carolina and Dallas in the NFCE and NFCS.  And then put Miami in the AFCS, Baltimore in the AFCE, and Indy in the AFCN.

Here is my proposal:

Not sure I'd agree the passing era is over. Burrow definitely gave his all this season

Guessing since so many in here are discussing the offseason moves the Eagles should make, that they must feel, the Eagles will do poorly in the playoffs.

Lot of limited practice on the Packers injury report, granted it was a Wednesday practice.  They are a lot more banged up than the first game.  Eagles are somewhat (no BG, Covey and BVS) but that’s kind of minor in comparison and Brown and Coop weren’t available the first game.  Arguably, the Eagles are healthier.  Questions about Hurts being rusty are a concern but the cobwebs are probably gone and unlike Love and Willis suffered injury to their throwing hand/arm last week whereas Jalen broke a finger on his none throwing hand five weeks ago. Five weeks is probably long enough for his finger to have mostly healed.  Sure Pickett has the ribs but I am not sure Pickett is better than McKee. I expect a lot of runs from the Packers. We will miss Graham on the edge but overall, I think the Eagles can control the run enough to prevail. The Pack has played the run a tad better than the Eagles and have the next best overall defense of the teams in the playoffs to the Eagles #1 D.  It will likely be a physical game.

More just passing time and thinking ahead

if we lose to GB it will be bc they threw up allmover themselves
