I don't know if this was posted already, but BGN posted a All-NFL rookie defensive team and thought it was nice to see Jalyx Hunt get mentioned as 2nd team for edge defenders.

Yes, both Q and DeJean made the cut. DeJean was given their rookie of the year award.

For some reason I thought Cine wasn't a very good athlete.  Although as graph shows that doesn't always translate.

The graph doesn’t have a "hips stiffness” category.

I have a feeling he'll be traded, especially if he signs Williams.

I believe he will be extended early, giving him a big slug of cash in a very Howie-friendly Cap wise contract.

Book it Danno.

Cine was an absolute force at UGA. There's a reason he was a 1st round pick at a position that doesn't often get taken in the 1st. If he's healthy, he can be a player. You have to wonder how much of an impact having his former UGA teammates around him might help. It could loosen him up and I hate the term, maybe help him find his swagger again. Every time a UGA game was on, Cine was making plays.

I don’t think Baun is going to accept a 2 year deal though.

He was the best LB in the NFL this year. Some team is going to give him a huge 4 year contract.

Time will tell.  I believe it will be substantial, but not huge.

Baun likely wouldn't get Roquan/Warner/Edmunds money at $18-20M per season, but would he get offered Milano/Queen/JOK money at $12.5-14M AAV?

I would guess since he's only had one season of big production that he'll be offered $11-12M range AAV.

You have defined the difference between huge and substantial perfectly.

My antenna is up a little bit with the AJ Brown thing. Eagles were awfully quick to downplay it and insist he is playing Sunday and it’s not a concern at all he missed the majority of practice yesterday and all of today.

Could very well be nothing. Just seems very anti-Eagles like when they are always vague about injuries. Especially considering it’s the playoffs now.

He's 29. I'm not sure teams are going to want to give him a contract through 33 when he's only had 1 year playing at this level.

Linebacker isn't exactly a low impact position. I wonder how much wear and tear he's had prior to coming to the Eagles.

Nice to see Payton Wilson on there. Really thought we missed the boat by passing on him in round 3. Hunt has been a solid pick up so I'm ok there. Loved Kinchens too, was surprised he fell to the end of round 3 and had him on my short list when we drafted Hunt.

I still want to criticize him for what he doesn't do though.  It bothers me too much.

That kind of criticism shouldn’t be limited to Hurts. The whole NFL and all of college football deserve the same criticism.  Once upon a time the athletic QBs from high school were converted to CBs when they arrived in college.  Now they continue to be QBs throughout college and on to the Pros.

They need to give him a few quarters Sunday to see what he can do.

Notice the color of the grass/turf is different from the one they recently laid down? Any ideas on why they replaced it? Is it more suited for cold weather or something?

I liked Kinchens but then he tested so terribly, like really bad. Maybe he was sick or something during the testing, because he's played pretty well so far.

He just turned 28 less than 2 weeks ago.

Beat me to it.

Some team is going to offer a 4 year deal with the understanding that the final year he will be 32 by the end of the season and might decline.

They put different turf down for different events. They probably pulled the Eagles turf for some event and then put it back after.

He played mostly ST’s. On defense in New Orleans he only played 8%, 17%, 10% and 27% of snaps. He should have a ton of tread on the tires.

Plus it was never at ILB, so even less impact.

Just makes a big difference when talking about a 4 year contract. Whoever signs him to one will get the majority of a 28, 29, 30 year old season and by the time it’s the 4th year and he’s 31, there will be an easy out likely.

3-year deal for Baun

4-year deal for Becton, with lots of escalators if he moves to RT.

3-year deal for Williams

1-year deal for Sweat

He was a TD machine for a large portion of the season.  He's only more dangerous when GB actuay relies on him more with Watson out. He should get St. Brown volume targets.  Or Wes Welker volume. But he doesn't.

With that said,  some of his big plays against up were blown coverage or players slipping while trying to tackle.  I think they'll limit him better this time.

He was also very effective when he went in motion.  The Eagles DBs couldn’t adjust to that effectively.  DeJean has solved that deficiency.
