How will the product endorsement revenue in that new city compare to the endorsement revenue he will see in Philly?

Who knows?  But local product endorsements won't make him much wherever he is.

How many Eagles players have endorsement deals currently?   Very very few and far between.  And even if he got 1... it wouldn't be for big money, it would be a minor deal.   Also Zach Baun, quite frankly, doesn't have the type of gravitas that a company would likely be looking for.  So, any deal would be with a minor company for a small amount of money, it's not a needle mover.   Zach Baun isn't Jason Kelce, and even Kelce didn't get all the deals he has now until he was at the end of his career and had facial recognition.  Now that he's retired he's everywhere, but while he was playing, I think I remember one deal with a local car dealership... and not until a couple years ago.

Stanford, I’m sure but I don’t know when. UConn won men’s and women’s basketball championships in 2004 and 2014. Probably a bunch of others.

Yeah but I meant 1 athletes winning on both sports.

I'm sure sometime soon one person will be able to win the men's and women's basketball championship though!

Words is with the potential of an inch or two of snow for tomorrow the NFL is considering moving the Eagles game to Tuesday.

I feel like this team can go to the NFC championship game in spite of Hurts and from there, it will have to be thanks to Hurts.

They should play the game in Greenland.

Disagree.   Gonna need solid play across the board to win any game.

Your comment begs the age old question, when is enough money enough?

Let me know when the cost of living starts going down instead of up.

That question also depends on your goals. If you are a player that dreams of becoming an owner one day, you'll need every million you can earn and invest. If your goal is to  do a lot of charity, every dollar you earn can help. If your goal is to set your family up for generations, it's stupid to decline more pay. If your goal is simply to live like royalty and have nicer things than most, you'll need a ton of money.

See i think the opposite. He did what I would do, dude is already a multi-millionaire. Go play for your dream team. These dudes don't need more money, they have all the money they could ever need and then some.

I have no idea what you do for a living, but it has gotten you to this point and I'm guessing you are happy. But it would be interesting to see what you did if every 3 years, employers bid for your services via a 3 year contract. Would you be content with your current pay when there are some people offering you a whole lot more because they want you to work for them? Even if you didn't want to change jobs, wouldn't you use that as leverage negotiating your next contract?

I think it's easy for us to say how much money someone else needs (to live) when we make less than them. They only need what you make to live your life. But they are living their own lives, not yours.

That is already implied and assumed.  There is one position that is questionably good enough.

No it wasn't.   The implication is that Hurts can play poorly ("in spite of") and the Eagles could still win two games.

Under high stress in big moments Hurts still defaults to carrying the football to make plays.  He’s going to have to be careful running the ball; another concussion will put him out for the playoffs most likely.  The tush push isn’t a high impact play, so hopefully the Eagles won’t need to deviate from it in short yardage.

Hurts has made some bad plays this season (so have all the big name QBs), but overall was very good. I'm not the least bit worried.

Where are you seeing that?   That's beyond ludicrous.  If the NFL does it, I think I'll have to consider giving up being a fan.  That's about as soft as I can remember anything.   An inch or two of snow a full 36 hours before a game should in no way be something to cause a change of venue.

1948 Championship game was played in a blizzard, one so bad that Steve Van Buren almost didn't show up for the game, because he assumed it would be canceled.

The 2004 NFC Championship game took place the day after a major blizzard... and fans that came to the stadium with a shovel were permitted to stay and watch the game for free.

An inch or two of snow, even falling during the game, shouldn't impact the site of the game.  This is football, not baseball...  You play through the elements, especially MINOR events, you don't run from them.     Wildfires, hurricanes, etc. are major events and change the conversation.   This 'storm' on Saturday shouldn't even be a topic of conversation.   By Sunday evening, the snow should be out of the way, the field should be completely cleared and fine for a game.

It's a joke, making fun of how the NFL screwed the Eagles in 2010 moving that Vikings game back to Tuesday for a snow storm that didn't even end up being that bad on the Sunday they moved the game from.

You should be.  He was only "very good" because he was very protected.

There may still come a game where we can't win with a QB that needs to be helped out so much.

Yup. The pushed tusher better bring "his version” of his A game.

The QB is always the limiting factor on a team. You can say this about Mahomes, Goff, Allen, Lamar, Mayfield, Stroud, Stafford, Herbert, Darnold, Wilson, Daniels, Nix, and Love.

Not really.  On this teams there are weaker positions.  Could be OL, skill positions, something in defense....

We have the #1 defense, #1 skill group including WRs and RB, and arguably #1 OL.

There is only 1 weakness.

Does Bob Hayes count? All kinds of track and field, Olympics, and Super Bowl.

No Eagles London game next year

I love the "my only worry is that Hurts might cost us the game" when literally 66% our losses were directly due to other star players completely crapping the bed.
