Seeing a lot of really odd takes from the Philly media trying to compare this Eagles team to the team they were week one. No comparison IMO. I think the Eagles are resting guys by the 4th quarter honestly.

The Packers also beat the Eagles in the regular season that season.

I’ve turned on the sports talk radio twice this week, and both times it was ranking the 2024, 2022 and 2017 defenses.

Well, they claim every new fabric they make is 95% lighter than the previous one. So soon enough, they might be translucent. Never bet against Nike! Unless you want the proper shade of Kelly Green, silver pants, gold pants, correct number placement etc.

Would’ve been much cooler if Brock Purdy gave away those free Toyotas with the ugly red interior to the facility staff… does an OLmen really want to squeeze into a rav-4, obvious re-gift.

It wouldn’t shock me.

The eagles have a long history under Laurie of giving players second chances, be it Michael Vick or Riley Cooper. He’d still be young and we’d have some pull to sign him with Smith, a stable organization, a track record of turning player’s careers around, etc.

The biggest hindrance will be the offense. If we are still consistently throwing for under 200 yards per game, he won’t come because there just won’t be the opportunity to earn a big contract.

I would ignore everything that happened Week 1 when it comes to tomorrow. Both teams had brand new DC’s and still learning the basics. The field was such crap that Love’s backfoot was sliding almost every time he got set to throw as well as seemingly every Eagle player starting the game with the wrong cleats. I think it will be closer and lower scoring than most people think but Eagles are clear favorites. It will likely be Eagles playing down to their competition and losing on the final drive if they don’t win.
