I’m thankful you guys aren’t the GM. God only knows what slop we would have lol.

Team would be better than it would if you were GM

Checkmate

I think Hurts is a solid QB with a clear, low ceiling. You certainly have to build a very strong run game to counter his limitations but he clearly is good enough to lead a team to a championship.

Ultimately, I think he’s Donovan McNabb with less arm talent.

His nuts are about 8 times the size of McNabb's.

@e-a-g-l-e-s eagles! This Nickelodeon broadcast is hilarious. Both of my girls are totally into this football game right now, and the commentating is more entertaining to me than listening to anyone on CBS or FOX. 😂

We need Donkey Lips doing some sideline work

"Donkey Lips" and I sing the Camp Anawanna song from Salute Your Shorts. Be sure to listen to/watch the entire episode tomorrow!, P.S. Zoom did a number on our timing, but I think I got the editing ...

Maybe these some of these old hosts in the booth.

Sidenote, took me a while to realize Mike O'Malley from Guts was then on Yes Dear, a totally underrated 2000s sitcom.

I genuinely believe you could put about 10-15 other QBs on this team and we would be as good/better.

That's not to say he's a bottom feeder, but there are clear limitations to his game as well.

Made Marc summers fly all the way to Houston to tell you the second half is starting.

Must be something in the water of Texas that makes them think its a good idea.  @Joe Ball can you confirm?

I don't know if it's the water or the fact that most engineers and architects in this state come from aTm

I remain convinced that Herbert on a team with average or better talent and coaching is a perennial pro bowl QB.

So does Nickelodeon have Dobber in a real booth somewhere?

That fumble was huge for the chargers

😂😂 Donkeylips with Mark Summers hosting.

Chargers need to get more than just mcconkey as a passing game weapon. Their cap issues last offseason forced them to into the playmakers they have in the passing game. I’d be surprised if they don’t add another WR in the offseason and maybe drafting a TE

I’d probably go for it if I’m the chargers.

he actually caught it but didn’t run his route far enough.

They need help all over the field.

How are you throwing short of the sticks when you only need 2 yards???

It's hard to evaluate Hurts' overall impact vs his impact as a passer. Would a QB like Herbert put up much better passing numbers here? No question. I think most QBs considered "good" would too.

But his impact on running game and short yardage is elite. About as good as it gets. There's a reason JAGs have put up 5ypc and 1000 yards in this offense, and it goes beyond just the OL. We've begun to take for granted that unlike pretty much 99% of NFL teams ever, we almost automatically convert 3rd and 1s.

And as a passer the touch on the sideline deep ball is also big time. And unlike Wentz or McNabb, when Hurts sees it and uncorks it, the ball usually goes where it needs to go.

So I really don't know what would happen if we replaced him. Would be a completely different offense.

My biggest issue with Hurts is that we have 2 elite WRs and only get only production out of 1. As we know, it's so hard to get one of those guys, and it often feels like we're wasting Devonta Smith's prime.

This roster makes him look better than he is. As elite as this offense is, the fogtag can't even crack 3k yards or 30 td passes

The play calling from the sidelines is a huge part of that.

And in the running game his contribution of yards is substantial and probably even more importantly the threat of Hurts running makes Barkley even more efficient and effective.

That doesn’t help Fantasy aficionados, but it does make for a productive Offense.

I mean defensively they were top 5 unit this year. Really they need playmakers on the team besides mcconkey. But i think they really need help at WR and TE. Palmer is out today and he’s really not great. But mcconkey, Johnston and chark aren’t good enough. And dissly isn’t a no. 1 tight end.

I’m guessing Johnston was supposed to run that route 2 yards deeper.
