Maybe, but lets let Hurts win a playoff game outside of 2022 before we get too cocky

Those 2022 wins/performances don't just disappear.

Any QB who plays as bad as Herbert today deserves criticism.

A slot receiver being your number 1 option isn’t usually ideal

That’s like when you bang whoores that have an STD.  The butthole isn’t ideal, but sometimes you gotta make doodoo.

Good thing there isn’t much QB competition in Herbert’s division.

No, but Hurts playoff record doesn’t warrant arrogance.

He chokes in big games, even in college he could never step up when it counted.

Yeah, now it’s over. This game really comes down to three things. Justin Herbert‘s not playing well. He’s been bad from the start of the game. His  throws anre overthrown and just off the mark.

The Chargers might have the worst skill position players of any team in the playoffs. Mcconkey is about the only guy you could sit there and be like he is good. The other wide receivers, tight ends aren’t good. Makes the game plan easier to load up and stop the run and force the chargers to beat you in the passing game when they have legitimately one good wide receiver. Not surprising as last offseason they were in bad shape cap wise and why Allen and Williams aren’t on the team.

Lastly, the chargers line has not been nearly as good as it has been prior to this game. Which is a credit to the Texans game plan, which is eliminate the run and force Herbert and the chargers to beat them throwing the ball with the pedestrian wide receivers outside of McConkey.

Part of me wonders how practice went for the Chargers this week with the wildfires out in LA and how focused some of the guys actually were. But the other three things are far more of a problem.

… pretty sure you can still get an std that way. And no I don’t know from experience

🤣

And for the sake of objectivity, Hurts’ playoff wins are against Daniel Jones Giants and 3rd string QB Niners.

Pardon me if I’m not ready to be cocky about our QB situation just yet.

It's a very interesting question.

Justin Herbert's stand on the sideline looking sad with your helmet 1/4th the way on your head is one of the most annoying visuals in sports. I don't know why, but it bothers me. Go sit on the bench and look at a tablet like a normal QB.

Outside of McConkey and maybe Dobbins, his weapons are trash.

Yup I was about to say, kind of reminds me of early Mcnabb with charles johnson torrence small, then thrash and pinkston.

Palmer, johnston are trash, chark, trash, McConkey pretty good but a rookie and not really a physical force (WOW)

Pair that with a non existent run game and WOW a bad o line and herbert is playing a lot of hero ball

It's not just this game, he has a long his history of shrinking in big moments.

They guy has been in the NFL for 5 years and he still has zero signature wins.

What a throw by Herbert!

What a swing of 3 plays

edit: 4 plays lmao

Holy moly

Yup. That's ugly for any qb. Some people don't get it

Dude has a Fing howitzer

If anything is going to bring them back to life, that might do it.   Reminiscent of the long TD to Celek in the incredible comeback by the Eagles over the Giants back in 2010.

And then some strange ST play!   .   Still only 2 possessions.

lmao, this game.

A lot of people think Herbert is much better than Hurts lol

He is

What was that?

That had to have been the strangest sequence of plays in nfl history. Sack, sack, long TD, blocked pat returned for 2pts.
