🤔. Like when he carried fraud teams to the Super Bowl?  Granted, they were exposed in the Super Bowl, but getting those teams to the Super Bowl was absolutely an accomplishment.  And he did it THREE times.

The chargers defense was bad in the second half outside of the fumble and the Texans committing a ton of penalties. Mixon ran for 91 yards in the second half. They gave up scores on 5 of the Texans last 7 possessions (excluding the kneel down). Also their oline was atrocious too

The reality is Johnston and DJ chark are not starting WRs. And dissly isn’t a starting TE. How many QBs you think are winning 11 games with the skill position players of Palmer, mcconkey, Johnston, dissly, DJ chark and reagor as their top pass catchers? Yeah it’s not many.

Jackson is going to end up taking some extra shots with all these runs.   This type of stuff pisses defenders off...  and what is 15 yards?  Pfft.

Herbert was still atrocious today. Missing guys and overthrows and a couple of bad ints (one was on dissly and his last DJ chark was getting ripped on the radio by announcer for a terrible route). He obviously has to be better going forward. That said they had 11 wins with Quentin Johnston, reagor, DJ chark, mcconkey, dissly and Joshua Palmer as his receiving threats. I’m guessing they add a TE and WR this offseason. Like i said earlier they have the worst collection of skill position players of any playoff team. 

im curious to see Herbert in year 2 with harbaugh with upgraded talent at the skill position. Mcconkey might be the only guy back from that group.

McConkey is a stud. Outside of him, they don’t have much. Weapons have to be a priority this off-season. And Harbaugh needs to figure out how to get the most out of Herbert in big moments

Herbert has things to work on. He needs to have better consistency in his games. There’s times where he looks great and others where he just crumbles. That said he previous regime screwed up and put them in a terrible cap spot otherwise they’d have Allen and maybe even Williams. I think the chargers figured they’d be competitive but not a legit contender this year. I’d be really surprised if they don’t add a WR like a Higgins in FA and then look to draft a TE relatively high.

Then I am really really confused, because he went to the first Super Bowl in Year 4.  In year 2, the Broncos were 12-2 with him at QB.  Year 3 they went 11-5 and missed the playoffs on tiebreakers.  When exactly was he being talked about that was unwarranted?
