When do the teams post the full list of inactives, assuming it hasn’t been done already?

Hour and a half before kickoff. Around 3PM EST.

I fly occasionally without going to the airport 😉, or on the way to the airport, these are the best flights btw, I also go to the airport occasionally and don't fly.  But yes, getting out of this winter weather for the week, even it's for work, as long as the fires stay north of San Diego I'm good. Thanks for asking 😁

If you're heading to Cali, stay safe out there.

We want to pick on you next season too!

Today begins Barkley's quest to break John Riggins' single post season rushing record of 610 yards. Considering we have the wild card game and he may have 4 games to do it, He will need to average 152.5 yards per game to tie. Thats higher than his regular season average, but if we dont end up resting him in blowouts, conceivably we may see him boost that average.

This is like the fourth different name I’ve seen someone say has the postseason record which makes the record itself irrelevant

Can anyone make a list of changes to sports over the last decade or two that have actually benefitted the game and given the fans something they want? The only thing I can think of is the two helmet rule and even that has silly guidelines to follow and it doesn't effect how the game is played.

The newer IR rules improved the game by a country mile

That's a good one. Start and end the list with that?

I was watching Mike Vrabel highlights from when he was a player and forgot how absolutely dumb it was that the NFL allowed games to be played on baseball fields. It would always drive me nuts watching those games and there’s just random dirt spots with poorly marked hashes because the owners were too cheap to change it.

It’s hard to even give the NFL credit with that or the new PS rules and PS elevations. It only took a worldwide pandemic to put something in place that makes sense and promotes player safety.

Not a new rule. It’s been in place for three years.

I can’t tell when RTK is trolling and when he is serious. There’s no way he didn’t know about this

Impact on winning … absolutely.  Produces a win all by himself … absolutely not.  Winning is a team result, not an individual result, and each team is the sum of its parts.

But I will humor you and the term "larger impact.”  There are 22 (really 25) positions on a football team.  Using 25 because the math is easier, an "equal impact” scenario would have each of those 25 positions having a 4% impact.  "Larger impact” can be any percentage over 4%.  What percentage impact do you think the QB typically has?

After you have cogitated on that question, here’s another one for you … who was the more impactful player, Jalen Hurts or Reggie White?  Or alternatively Jalen Hurts or Brian Dawkins?  Or in this season Jalen Hurts or Saquon Barkley?

I would say a QB’s impact ranges anywhere from 25-40% on the outcome of a game

Wins are not an individual stat, but at the same time the QB has an overwhelming impact on winning relative to anyone else

I think the Eagles are hungry. Maybe they won't show it on the field in 5 hours, but I've gotten the feeling all year the Eagles are pissed about how last season ended, were embarrassed by it, know the Super Bowl in 2022 was stolen from them and they're the true winners of it, and are using this season as a revenge tour. I think/hope we'll get a team totally locked in today.

Oh yeah, I remember those days. It's criminal the ownership would allow such a thing. This is where I blame the NFL and even the players union to an extent. They should have forced ownership to address that. If not, then you can't bean owner, very simple.

The Sixers are such a bad organization.

College championship. 😂😂 He was literally replaced at halftime bc like usual, he can’t throw the football. Then like clockwork, Tua took that offense up and down the field.

I'm not talking about forcing anything more than just a couple quick throws early.  Two or three in the first four or five plays but beyond that yeah, slam Saquon all day long and mix in some Hurts carries.

Yeah, that’s exactly what I don’t want. Every time we do this it’s 3 and out.

There’s no reason to try to "get Hurts involved” or whatever. The goal is to win the game. Our best plan of attack is to run early and run often.

Hurts is a game manager, not Peyton Manning. Run on first and second down. If it’s 3rd and 6 or more, then you can think about throwing.

Adam Silcdd is the worst.  Also F Comcast.

Changing OT rules. Sudden death with a field goal was stupid. Not having the opportunity for "redemption” if the other team scored first was stupid.

On the list of things I don’t care about at all, this is probably #1.

My only goal is to win. That and stay healthy

He hasn’t played for three weeks and it has been four since he had more than a couple drives. To me it is useful in this game to get him snapped in. I’d like one Hurts run and two throws in the first 6-8 plays and then I would run, run, run and mix a play action 20+ throw in here there.

Now if we are already down a TD when we get the ball for our first drive then I’d just run.

I think the key to the game is stopping the run. Can't see Packers beating the Eagles if they contain Jacobs.

Packers have a good run D and will stack the box and dare the Eagles to beat them. They'll have to throw the ball to win and will.

Real Revenge Tour.

Not only are the Packers looking for revenge for week 1. They are more than "pissed" over the way last season ended with a loss to the Niners in the playoffs. Steamrolled Dallas in Dallas and then outplay the Niners for 4 quarters and lost on a missed FG from a rookie kicker. A rookie kicker that is gone.

The Packers also want Detroit, the Packers are the true Kings Of The North. The Lions have not won any hardware since 1957.

See you after the game. No matter the outcome.

That and not losing the TO battle. Don’t have to win that but don’t lose it.
