Much rather play MIN/LAR than the Bucs.

It’s whatever but I can’t stand this playing victim routine.

There's no doubt in my mind he's frustrated but my guess is he's not going to show it during the playoffs

1 reception for 10 yards is criminal

The constant during every coordinator’s tenure has been the quarterback. I think it’s time we recognize what the real issue is.

But the offense was great in 2022.

I think the Rams/Vikings have a far better chance of beating the Lions though.  Also Bucs win gives us a 1 day rest advantage for the NFC Title Game.

I look at it this way.  We don't play the Bucs well at all.  We would get the winner of Minnesota/Rams with that team playing on a short week, and coming from Arizona....  seems advantageous to play one of those 2 teams

My guess for schedule:

Saturday

Redskins @ Lions 4:30

Ravens @ Bills 8:30

Sunday

Texans @ Chiefs 4:30

Rams/Vikings @ Eagles 8:30

Swap the SNF the days for all games depending on how this game plays out.

Don’t take timeouts while trailing in the 4th quarter

Another 4th down in the red zone.

Yes it was.

We beat the Bucs last year in Tampa. Lost in the playoffs in Tampa while in a full blown meltdown without AJ.  Lost this year in Tampa without DeVonta and AJ, Barkley had a season low in rush attempts despite being very effective and our defense had Maddox instead of DeJean.  Also they had Godwin.  We should beat the Bucs in Philly.  Overall benefits of everything outweigh the other scenarios.

They should go for it.  Third time is the charm.

Well if they keep going to the playoffs then I seriously doubt Howie will look elsewhere

It's the Mcnabb Kolb effect.

AR started to figure out that he couldn't run his offense to it's full potential with Mcnabb (a superior example to Hurts, but the analogy holds).  But it can still get a heck of a lot worse than the guy who isn't good enough and is holding you back.  AR dabbled, got someone who was worse (or at least...not ready and needed growing pains...but also, in Kolb's case, definitely worse)...and then it was impossible to move on until Mcnabb was clearly cooked.

Going from someone with Hurts' winning % to Russian roulette at QB is risky business.  Howie is bold, but I'm not sure anyone other than an armchair GB is that bold.  So it'll be Hurts until the roster erodes enough that the hopes of winning are gone and they can make a less pressurized QB search and change.

And this is the theory behind going for it. Convert 1 of 2 and you get 7 instead of 6 points

Washinton finally hit pay dirt.  Ironically... 3 FGs rather than this 1 TD makes it 22-17 rather than 20-17.    So, they still are behind where they could have been.  And a FG ties them rather than forcing the Bucs to get in the end zone.

Go Skins!

I'm not rooting against Chiefs. I'm rooting for DeMeco

Go Bills

And the league adjusted, now Hurts/OCoodinator need counter

Have to be rooting for Washington I guess? They have a better chance of taking out Detroit than Minnesota or LA and we get the winner of tomorrow on shorter rest.

Vikings are so much better than the Bucs I’d rather not face them next week. I know they have to win tomorrow but still.

Well...a capologist may call me out on this...but say Hurts wasn't on a maxed out deal.  Then we aren't talking about Bechton vs. Baun vs. Milton Williams vs. Sweat.  We are probably going to lose 2 of those 4 and will not be able to add a splash FA starter this offseason.

So the stacked roster starts inching back towards the mean this offseason already.  Can keep them all if Hurts isn't being paid to be a QB that he isn't.

Honestly we can probably keep all 4. Every year people egregiously underestimate what Howie can do with whatever cap space he has. I think we keep 3 and only loose one because it probably makes more sense to let him go. Whether thats Sweat with his knees and games like today, or Williams because Ojomo and Booker are good depth, and we draft a 1st rounder at one of those positions. Baun and Becton are guaranteed eagles imo. And we keep 1 of the D linemen.

Kirk 2.0 sure was rattled last week in a big game.

Convert 1 of 3 and you get 7 points instead of 9... which is what happened in this game.

That's what I think as well. It's the same with Nick. People think Howie/Lurie will fire him if we don't win the SB. Hurts and Nick aren't going anywhere until we start having losing seasons

That year was 50-50.  2021 was 53-47.   2023 was actually more pass heavy 47-53.   This year the Eagles skewed WAY to the run side.  59-41!

Has a lot to do with Saquon Barkley and his 2k+ season, imo
