Oh ok, we'll just take your word for it instead then I guess?

I already stated three separate plays where Hurts had open targets.  You could go ahead, use your own eyes, and look.  That's a novel idea.

There are multiple times he says "no one’s open” when there are, in fact, people open.  This is the NFL. A step means you’re open.

The most obvious example is below. The RB is WIDE open underneath with plenty of space for him to run into, catch, and then try to make a play for the first down, yet he says "no one’s open.”

Even worse, it’s 2nd and 4, so even if the RB is stopped short you have another 2 plays to get a yard or two.

Thank you.

I'll never pretend to truly "get" this sport like you guys who grew up on it.

But I've watched this clip a few times and come to the same conclusion.

There were plays to be made.

Only 4/5 yard gains maybe, but so what ?

I'd call it taking what the defense is giving you.

Maybe I missed them, post time stamps or screen shots.

They can win next week with Hurts playing at baseline.  To win the SB, he'll have to play over his head as a passer (which he has done and other QBs have done...it's only 2 games) in the NFCCG and SB.

They can win with him kicking the ball around next week, but after that...they need 2 games of good passing Hurts.

They can win out even at baseline but need the D to be lights out and specials to be good.  Good and average, respectively, wouldn't cut it.  IF he throws well too, then they go from can win to likely will win.  For sure, this D can carry us, but the margin of error on O and specials is much tighter.

The Eagles were already going to draft another LB next season most likely just because they have such little depth there and Dean unfortunately has been so injury prone. He's gotten hurt literally every season. But at least we know we have two young stud LBs when healthy for the first time in years. Dean will bounce back, in the mean time add some depth in the offseason.

Torn patellar temdon is rough, I had mine cut on purpose during surgery, has to be kept in s straight leg brace for a few weeks so it doesnt tear then once healed up the PT to get that knee bending again is a B then once its bending PT to strengthen the muscles that atrophied, so good luck to him. Tough injury.

Shawn Smith was also the ref that let the cheap shot by Clowney on Wentz go a few years back.  Dude obviously has a bias against Philly - we're screwed this Sunday.

I get his "winning is the only thing that matters" mentality, but it's not fair to the rest of the team who is held to a certain standard. Everyone else is playing their asses off and he's still making elementary errors. I know we've seen the bad game/average game/good game trend from him, but I would like to hope he can get to more of a level where it doesn't look like he's never played the position before. But this may be who he is.

Yet that was the only time they ran that play.

I mean it was a solid throw too, thats a tough throw, if your late with it, pick 6, if your too inside with it, pick 6, hurts got it out in time, good zip on the pass and good outside placement, and smitty good route.

I found it comical that folks would post a Orlovsky breakdown to prove that Kellen Moore is the problem, when Orlovsky doesn't even know where his own end zone ends -- much less in-depth study of route concepts and spacing.

Ok Kellen

🤣

Question, when a defender puts his hands near someone face it’s a face mask, but when a guy with the ball does it, it’s a stiff arm?

Moore getting torn to shreds today

It's grabbing the facemask that constitutes a foul, and it's normally called against the defense as either a restraining foul (because it's being done in an effort to tackle the ball carrier) or a personal foul because it can result in an injury to the head/neck area.

Not saying it's right.  Just saying where the rule comes from.

He sucks. Just hope that if he gets the Dallas job, there will be some coordinators left worth hiring. Klink Kubiak could go quickly.

We got Twitter dorks and data nerds now!

Do we play a lot more dime so cinder blocks Burks doesn't play but that means Maddox. Will be an interesting case on how they play this. Either way I bet Jordan Davis plays more so they can have lighter boxes next week.

I find it comical that people see a paid professional that has access to all 22 says that Kellen Moore was the main problem and yet still ignore it because Dan stepped out of bounds once

Yeah as a defender, I hated that. But it's a double-edged sword, if you recall, that's how he got his arm broken last year. DB just grabbed the arm and pretzled up on him, twisting it under his body as he went to the ground. The offenseive player can pretty much punch you in the head at will, but you can't wrap up and use your weight to bring down a ball carrier anymore without it being called a hip drop tackle. Lame.

QB coach for the Vikings Josh McCown might be a good hire as well.

We might get an OC that can actually do more with all of this talent on offense. Especially considering this place likely would be a favorite for an OC playcaller

Or we could end up getting someone who sucks

Not sure I want to make that gamble
