Moore getting torn to shreds today

Yeah but one time Baldinger made a bad play when he was a player, so his opinion is therefor invalid or something!

We might get an OC that can actually do more with all of this talent on offense. Especially considering this place likely would be a favorite for an OC playcaller

Or we could end up getting someone who sucks

Not sure I want to make that gamble

Watch them bring Brian Johnson back

Back to the Sixers/Flyers and the WFC. What exactly is wrong with it? They just invested $400 million to upgrade the facility. What else do you need to watch hockey and basketball?

QB coach for the Vikings Josh McCown might be a good hire as well.

I'd love to get McCown back in the building. Would be super interesting to see how matures as an OC.

He's an Assistant head coach/offensive pass game coordinator. I'm not sure how the hierarchy of these assistant positions go. Is that a promotion from OC? If so then wouldn't he need to get fired because teams can't hire someone in a lower position than their current position?

He sucks. Just hope that if he gets the Dallas job, there will be some coordinators left worth hiring. Klink Kubiak could go quickly.

Steichen not getting fired means I'm not sure I want Kellen to be hired away.

While i dont think Kellen is special at all, might be good to give Jalen a 2nd year in an offense. All the constant change cant be good. Now if there was an obvious candidate out there for Siri to hire, I'd have a different view.

Teams can no longer block interviews for coordinator positions, if that's what you mean. He wouldn't need to get fired first.

I mean it was bad

The fans and media in this town are the most negative, toxic, bunch of people on the planet. GB was probably the best 7 seed ever and even going back to a 6 team format one of the better 6 seeds you would have ever drawn. We won by 12 points and are moving on and you would think we lost. All of this doom and gloom "that isn't a SB worthy performance" is just stupid. I heard the same thing in 2017 against the Falcons. This isn't diving or figure skating where you get style points, you either win or lose and they won.

I find it comical that people see a paid professional that has access to all 22 says that Kellen Moore was the main problem and yet still ignore it because Dan stepped out of bounds once

Whatever helps you sleep at night, buddy.  If you can't see there are throws to be made there -- even after no less than three separate posters point them out -- then there isn't much to discuss.

No no, he busted that book out yesterday just to cause controversy!!!!

The more I watch Milton Williams, the more I think you gotta keep him. He's young and home grown. Unless he gets some insane contract offer. Keep him, Baun, and most of your defense is in tact for the foreseeable future. Dean will get an extension too at some point. Sweat is probably a question and obviously Slay.

Slay is under contract at least not like these other guys.

Kind of. The assistant HC part of the job title confuses me. Does that get grouped in with that coordinator rule as well? Is he already above the coordinator position? If he is then wouldn't it be a demotion?

Shawn Smith was also the ref that let the cheap shot by Clowney on Wentz go a few years back.  Dude obviously has a bias against Philly - we're screwed this Sunday.

To be fair, 7 seeds in the NFL have only existed for 4 years, lol.

Hence why I said even going back to the 6 team format you would rarely draw a team with 11 wins in that spot.

I can actually see them going there - we know Howie loves McCown

I don't think it matters what their current position is. The point of the rule change was so that teams couldn't play games with position titles and roles to be able to block interviews. If the opening is for an OC or DC, then the interview can't be blocked.

It's not just a Philly thing. You can check out other sports teams and see the 'doom and gloom'/criticism after a win. Not sure why people seem to think it's only us

Would've been 10 wins back when it was a 6-team format and it happened fairly often.

EDIT: my mistake, they lost that last game to the bears. you're right

Yep, and 11 is more than 10 and often times 6 seeds were 9-7 as well. The point is, it was a very tough draw for a 2 seed to get in round one.

I forgot they actually lost that last game, you were right.

It's not exclusive to Philly but most fan bases and media aren't like this. It's utterly ridiculous. I listened to WIP for like 10 mins today and had to shut it off because every caller was acting like we lost.
