Whatever helps you sleep at night, buddy.  If you can't see there are throws to be made there -- even after no less than three separate posters point them out -- then there isn't much to discuss.

You can do this with literally any qb in any game. You think every qb hits every open receiver every play except Hurts? Also where did i say Hurts played a great game? It's like if you don't drag Hurts through the mud it means you think he played like Joe Montaña. Zero middle ground

Question, when a defender puts his hands near someone face it’s a face mask, but when a guy with the ball does it, it’s a stiff arm?

If the offensive player grabs and pulls, its also a face mask, same as the defender.

Moore getting torn to shreds today

Silliness.

Makes you wonder why Dallas wants him back if they were do happy to be rid of him and he stinks so bad here.

Slay is under contract at least not like these other guys.

I have no idea how tradeable his contract is, but he's had a damn good year (minus the injuries here and there). Can you move him before it's too late and open up a spot on the outside for Ringo?

Yeah as a defender, I hated that. But it's a double-edged sword, if you recall, that's how he got his arm broken last year. DB just grabbed the arm and pretzled up on him, twisting it under his body as he went to the ground. The offenseive player can pretty much punch you in the head at will, but you can't wrap up and use your weight to bring down a ball carrier anymore without it being called a hip drop tackle. Lame.

All the rules skew to the offense.

It's a week to week league.  Hurts didn't play well yesterday.   Doesn't mean he will play poorly this coming Sunday.  Unless Moore really wants the Dallas job and calls a horrible game hoping we lose so he can interview with Uncle Jerry first thing Monday morning.

His play is consistently poor; can't keep squandering offensive possessions. In addition to this I'm still concerned about elliott.

Yeah but one time Baldinger made a bad play when he was a player, so his opinion is therefor invalid or something!

It was so bad that his pinky is still trying to get away from the rest of his body... but just can't get away!

Steichen not getting fired means I'm not sure I want Kellen to be hired away.

While i dont think Kellen is special at all, might be good to give Jalen a 2nd year in an offense. All the constant change cant be good. Now if there was an obvious candidate out there for Siri to hire, I'd have a different view.

Yeah. My dream scenario was Kellen gets hired away and Steichen gets fired and comes back home. Oh well.

I think it was McCarthy that wanted Moore out

The fans and media in this town are the most negative, toxic, bunch of people on the planet. GB was probably the best 7 seed ever and even going back to a 6 team format one of the better 6 seeds you would have ever drawn. We won by 12 points and are moving on and you would think we lost. All of this doom and gloom "that isn't a SB worthy performance" is just stupid. I heard the same thing in 2017 against the Falcons. This isn't diving or figure skating where you get style points, you either win or lose and they won.

Fawning over the Packers now, are we?  They were rightly the 7 seed, meaning 4 years ago, they don't even make the playoffs.

And no, they didn't beat anyone.  What they did was beat bad teams... which is good, but not great.

And lost to the Bears last week, while trying desperately to win.  Great team.

Someone help me out. This person is who?

It's not exclusive to Philly but most fan bases and media aren't like this. It's utterly ridiculous. I listened to WIP for like 10 mins today and had to shut it off because every caller was acting like we lost.

You listen to WIP? That was your first mistake :)

The Packers are a legit good team.  They could use some secondary help and a go-to WR, maybe a few new pieces on OL, but they're going to be a playoff contender for a while.

We're just that much better than they are.

Damn, didn't see this one coming. Huge for PSU.

No, you're inferring that because you don't like any criticism for whatever reason.  Of course every QB misses throws and open receivers; that's not the issue.

Hurts has been with the Eagles since 2020.  He had a breakout year in 2022 which earned him a mega contract extension, but he hasn't performed at that level since 2022.  The Eagles are limited in their offensive scheme with Hurts at QB, but that can also be said for about 25 other NFL teams with their QBs.  What's frustrating for some fans is Hurts' overall performance when the talent around him is factored in.

Will the Eagles beat the Vikings/Rams with Hurts playing the way he is?  Quite possibly, maybe even likely.  Can they go to DET if they have to and beat the Lions on the road the way Hurts is playing?  Doubtful.  Can they beat DET on the road, then beat KC/BUF/BAL on a neutral field the way Hurts is playing?  Very doubtful.

Some analyst (who used to be a QB) writing off the Eagles offensive struggles purely on coaching and play design is flat-out disingenuous.  Unless Moore's success in DAL was purely because of McCarthy, or Dak is actually the best passing QB in the NFL, then it's just dumb to assert Moore is "the problem".  Moore doesn't have the ball in his hands on every offensive play.

Do we play a lot more dime so cinder blocks Burks doesn't play but that means Maddox. Will be an interesting case on how they play this. Either way I bet Jordan Davis plays more so they can have lighter boxes next week.

We should put Sidney brown in the box with baun. Like JJ used to do with Michael Lewis

Wow.  Bad for Eagles... good for PSU.

Sydney Brown is a lethal weapon... aim him at the opponent and pray he doesn't cause friendly fire, like the Sendejo debacle.

He's an Assistant head coach/offensive pass game coordinator. I'm not sure how the hierarchy of these assistant positions go. Is that a promotion from OC? If so then wouldn't he need to get fired because teams can't hire someone in a lower position than their current position?

I’m assuming if Kingsbury gets a HC that he’s in line to be his replacement.

Yep, and 11 is more than 10 and often times 6 seeds were 9-7 as well. The point is, it was a very tough draw for a 2 seed to get in round one.

I am not sure how tough a draw they were.  I don't think Jordan Love was playing better than Jayden Daniels or Baker Mayfield for most of this season.  The Packers were an overrated team that played a pretty easy schedule. They had the worst win percentage against NFC playoff teams and next to last against playoff teams.

The Eagles' defense did take care of this team but it wasn't like they were some juggernaut coming into the playoffs.  Based on this, I would rather we face the Vikings.

I think they could do that, or ,and hear me out on this one, put Avonte in the slot and move DeJean to Burks' position.

I get what you are saying, but at the same time it's Super Bowl or bust. We are well beyond just getting into the playoffs.

With that in mind Hurts looked like dog crap. The fact he's been in the league for this many years and still takes a loss behind the LOS instead of throwing it away is baffling. Against the Lions or Vikings or for sure the Chiefs/Bills he's going to have to do more than just be pedestrian and not screw up. That guy yesterday wasn't good enough, so people have a right to be talking about it today.

KM did a horrible job calling plays yesterday. How that guy is in consideration for a HC job is beyond me. Nothing about yesterday should give anyone confidence in how he'll do from here on out.

And the QB of the defense is now out leaving them with a hole good offenses will expose and no room for error because of the offense. It feels like when Wentz went down minus they don't have a Foles coming off the bench.

So I get why people aren't happy after that. Who still listens to talk radio, though? Listen to a blog.
