Newest Eagles fan came this morning at 4am…I’m tired AF.  I’ll make sure to post some photos this weekend of her in her baby Eagles gear!  Despite my sleep deprived wishes, she is not named Saquon and

What the hell is McVay doing?

Back in the moment, I'd have agreed. Hindsight gives me a different take though. To me 'elite' means you are the best of the best at your position. I can't put Vick there. Would I put McNabb there for any extended period of his career? I'd have to think about that one and take into account the top QB's of his day for comparisons.

For Vick, 'elite' as a QB who could run. Sure. But as a passer? That doesn't match my memory of his career. But I haven't really thought about either of those QBs for a very long time.

Anthony Richardson played well today. He didn’t get tired

If Josh Allen is Mcnabb and Lamar Jackson is Vick, that’s pretty much proof this generation of QBs isn’t as good as the last one.

Again you must not watch football because Lamar and Allen are elite. We get it you don't get it and I am talking to a school child.

Four NFC champions and 1 SB appearance is elite. Sorry you are too dumb to get that especially with the lack of weapons he had.

I said after the SB.  He did not have 4 NFC championships and 1 SB appearance after 2004.  I may be the dumb one, but you’ll need to check your facts.

Wow.

Doug's head coaching career may only have 2 minutes of life left.

You are right, they are elite.  I’m not still in school though.

Bears might actually win this

blocked!!! :excited:

Blocked fg, wow.

The bears are who we thought they were, eh?

:roll:he missed

The wait goes on for the bears to beat the packers 😂

Back to back weeks with a block field goal at the end to win a game.

Just fire everyone and get started for next year.

Chris Boswell is the fantasy football league OP kicker.   6 FGs today.   Should have been 7.

The league has moved away from prototypical pocket passers.  And I would argue that they have done it with poor results.

Mahomes stands above the rest and is an anomaly.  Even he has inconsistencies in his play, specifically last and this regular season…but still, his overall accomplishments will rival Brady when he’s done.

The rest of them?  I don’t think it’s working out.  For any of them.  Allen is too inconsistent.  I’d say Jackson is too inconsistent, but he’s consistently bad in the playoffs.

Burrow is the closest to prototypical.  And they may not be 6’6” and you might love them or hate them, but Purdy and Goff are in that category.  And they happen to be winning a lot of games.  All 3 of them are pure passers.

ALL of the hybrid QBs are far more up and down (and consequently, their teams) than the HOF pocket passers of the 2000’s.

Belichik whiffed hard on Mac Jones after he crushed it at Alabama and I feel like the SEC, the first round, and NFL franchises haven’t prioritized pocket passing ever since.

There's a reason the NFL franchises haven't prioritized pocket passing. Teams are just too good at dialing up pressure. While the results may be poor, I can say with confidence that they would be worse with a bunch of statues back there in the pocket.

Rodgers in that last drive was horrible to watch

24 points , second time he’s kicked 6 this season. Glad I’ve got him!

The vaunted Jim Schwartz defense was single handedly dismantled by... *checks notes*

...34 year old gadget player, Taysom Hill.

Rams win. Would rather play a team off a W than a L.

Scrambling isn’t the only way to beat a blitz though.  Peyton against JJ’s defense regular season 2003 was one of the most hopeless feelings I’ve had watching the Eagles.
