190 passing yards per game with a perfect TD:INT, plus a good but not great running threat.

Basically the prototype of a game manager.

They are playing well right now. Particularly defensive. Granted i don’t think they’ve faced good offenses since Buffalo outside of the Vikings and Darnold and their oline folded the last two weeks. Which credit to lions and rams but really i think this was a regression to the mean for an average Qb and a below average OL without their best OLineman.

i have concerns about their offense as well. Since the buffalo Game, their offense has generated 12, 19, 13 and 20 (defensive td gave them 7). I didn’t include week 18 cause they didn’t play anyone. Their offense looked good at the start of the game scoring 10 points right off the bat. But the rest of the game they only scored 10 points on offense. And the other TD they scored was Minnesota being dumb with going for it on 4th down on their side of the field with an OL and Qb that were playing awful. Imo that game looks worse cause of a poor 4th down decision. If it’s 17-3 at halftime, Minnesota is still in it and it doesn’t look nearly as bad cause the rams offense didn’t do much second half.

I’d also point out I think the Rams are super fortunate the officials overturned that fumble. IMO there wasn’t enough to overturn that when you watch different angles. I’d have kept it ruling on the field.

Yeah that overturn sure. Helped.. while I can say it seemed like staffords arm was going forward his head was tucked in like a turtle and it looked like Puka had turned around again like he was going to block. I would have kept the ruling on the field.

Bryce Huff isn't going to be an Eagle next season. I know the "out year" for him is 2026, but there is no chance they are going into next season with a guy making that money who can't even see the field in playoff games. They will trade him or they will cut him.

Bold (and maybe dumb) prediction.

Hurts passes for more yards than Stafford in this game.

I think that depends on how slowly the Eagles start.  If the Eagles get the lead early I think Stafford will be chucking it all day; he could end up over 300 yards and the Rams could still lose by 10+ points.

I'm hoping for an efficient game from Hurts.  Continue not turning the ball over, go about 19-for-27 for 210 yards, and let Barkley do his thing for 150+ yards on the ground.  If they can do that, the offense will be close to 400 yards, dominate TOP, and get an efficient win.

Yup. He doesn't want to be here. Fangio doesn't want him. Easy trade to make especially since the acquiring team will get his true talent level for cheap.

Nakobe Dean led the team with 8 tackles in the first Rams game. He also had a sack, fumble recovery, 2 TFLs, and a QB hit.

Graham also had a sack, 2 TFLs, and 3 QB hits.

I recall our Cooper really struggling with their Cooper in that game.

A big factor in that game was the defense holding serve until Saquon broke the game open in the 2nd half.

The offense is going to have to get it going earlier this time around.

That was the game that Graham was injured in.

I hate that stadium.

Why not give out his entire playoff record? Why cherrypick to last 5 games just to remove the horrible one from Bucs?

Regarding play calling, what are the advantages to which they should be aligning?

More slants, digs, and drags, fewer hitches, swings, and verts. Throw in some max protect on occasion to try to give us time to free up someone with a double move or deep crosser. And I'd like to see more chipping the edges which provides the two fold benefit of helping the tackles and also slowing the RB/TE's route release out of the backfield to naturally time up better with the progression on a given play.

For starters, take more shots downfield to his pro ball Wide Receivers. Should be throwing at least 3 of those a game. This will also keep them engaged and happy.

More creative plays that are designed for North & South running opportunities for Hurts. Get that read option going.

More hurry up offense. Especially early in games where they have been stagnant most of the year.

Also, more usage for Goedert & Dotson to be playmakers and get some RAC after short passes.

At times, make Hurts more of a point guard with all these playmakers and have him hustling things up. Of course Barkley can still get his.

Most watched Fox playoff game since 2017.

Yeah, when you look at multiple angles, I don’t think it’s conclusive enough to say 100%. I thought he was trying to do it but it wasn’t conclusive enough cause he got spun. it may very well have been started losing his grip on it and he tried to sell it with an arm coming forward. I’d have left it as call on the field stands.

We have an elite offensive line, running game, and defense.  Jalen is not going to make throws into tight windows because he doesn't want to throw interceptions.

Does that make him a game manager?  Maybe.  But it also wins football games.

Who else did we lose at sofi besides Graham? I’m completely blanking. The Colosseum is where we lost Carson Wentz, but if it wasn’t for that we also wouldn’t have gotten the greatness of Nick Foles.

The fact that we are hoping for our quarter billion dollar QB to have 210 passing yards sure is something…

The Rams need to educate their fans like they did in St. Louis about the "Ram Rules."

That made me sad, such a passionate fanbase.  Why do they not have a team... again?

Something to keep in mind on Sunday is the Cooper DeJean factor. The Rams game was his "hey rookie, welcome to the NFL". I'd imagine he's learned a ton since then and now has his own tape from that game to study. He shouldn't be the easy completion he was the first time around.

Hope so, last week he was not his usual self. Let's hope he learned something from that and gets back on track.

Patrick Mahomes: 15-2 SB

Josh Allen: 15-2 SB

Joe Burrow: 15-2 SB

Lamar Jackson: 15-2 divisional loss

Russell Wilson: 10-7 wildcard loss

Sam Darnold: 10-7 wildcard loss

Baker Mayfield: 9-8

Justin Herbert: 15-2 SB

Jordan Love: 9-8

Matt Stafford: 11-6 Divisional loss

Tanner McKee: 9-8

Prime Mcnabb: 13-4 NFCCG loss

Justin Herbert has played 2 play off games in 3 years, he blew a 27 point half time lead in the first one and just went out of wild card weekend with a 4 pick meltdown and you think he'd win it all anywhere?

Yes, it makes him a game manager. Yes, it wins football games — the same way Trent Dilfer won football games.

Hopefully our defense and running game are as good as that Ravens team and win us a Lombardi.

When you're a week late starting interviews I guess you've got to get the compulsory ones out of the way quickly.

I think Jerrah is seriously considering Deion.  It just fits his MO.

Brad Johnson was also a game manager. Our running game and defense is comparable to that Bucs team (D is not as good but running game is better.) Tom Brady's first SB win was the textbook definition of game managing. Peyton Manning might as well have been a mannequin in his SB win with the Broncos. The list is much longer than just Trent Dilfer.

EDIT: looking up more, you can add Roethlisberger and Eli Manning to the list
