Go ahead. There are a bunch more questions already written.

I've provided objective data, burden of proof is on you to find objective sources of data that tracks the metrics which you seek. Take all the time you need, I'll wait.

Nice. Looked like you were asking for the next question a minute ago.  Now you try to pass the buck.  I accept your surrender.

Rumblings the Raiders may be making progress toward hiring Ben Johnson.

So the first QB performance listed here was better than the second one in your view?

A) 8 for 15, 72 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT

B) 13 for 21, 131 yds, 2 TDs, 0 INT

I don't know who that first performance is, and by the looks of it, it's also not good.  Hurts was awful on Sunday based on the situation he was put into.  On the surface with zero context, Hurt's numbers are superior, however, this article measures dropback success rate.

A) I'll trust the smart guy who did the analysis and research over the last 10 years and came up with a definitive result that Hurts was the ONLY QB that played this trashy over the last 10 years and still won a playoff game.

B) Let me know if that first QB had the best OL in football, the best RB in football, the best pass catching duo in football, and Goedert.

Hey.  It's a big win for the hurts fluffers if it was only the 9th worst QB performance in the last 10 years

 That's obviously GOOD!

It was rhetorical. Too young to remember Rosenhaus I take it? Sad.

Funny - this is exactly what I saw all day long Sunday as well, but apparently it's taboo to discuss.  On a message board.  About football.  His passing performance on Sunday was embarrassing, and for those hiding their heads in the sand saying, "Yay no turnovers that's all we need to win!"  When did that become the standard??!

Yeah, but Mahomes beat him in a Superbowl so he's better and the Chiefs would kill to have him

Oh yes.  I should have known you'd only actually be asking for questions you like the answer to.  Good job if you can prove Hurts was only 9th worst instead of 10th worst.  Big if true!

That's good news. I was scared he could go to the Cowboys. I know it's Jerry Jones and they'll probably end up with Deion, but it was a slim possibility.

If true, he must be looking for something extremely specific

Best-case scenario for us. Weakens Detroit + doesn't help the Bears.

I've heard that Liam Cohen is very likely going to the Jags too. Would hurt TB.

Oh you mean the same article that states this in the second paragraph?

They run a low volume of passing concepts. They major in predictability and lack creativity. And it feels like the aggressiveness has been coached out of Hurts.

Read that first sentence carefully and see if you can determine the meeaning. Then when you're ready, move on to the second one. Let me know if you need help at any point.

Oh there's more. You guys somehow have forgotten that QBs like Blake Bortles and Ryan Tannehill have won playoff games before.

Tom Brady’s TB 12 formula has begun Benjamin buttoning him so he can play like he was back in his late 20s now?

Probably depends how many inaccurate throws there were that don't show up on the stats.  Same with taking bad sacks that don't show up on those stats. Same with not seeing open WRs that don't show up in those stats. Same with making the wrong reads on the read options that don't show up on those stats.  Same with making bad line adjustment calls so blitzes get through,  that doesn't show up on those stats. Same with audibling to the wrong play that doesn't show up on those stats.

All you bozos that just keep posting attempts, completions,  yards, and TDs as your defense are missing so much more that is involved in QB play.  And it's why you are mislead by his numbers.

It's funny when you dorks do and when you don't want to use context haha

Man, I know Hurts had a bad game on Sunday, but it really seems like we lost and we're burying the team and spitting on the QBs grave. Can we at least wait until we lose? From my recollection, he usually follows a performance like this past week with a decent or good one, so I'm hopeful for this weekend. I hope he has a decent performance and then the talking heads say he'll never be able to do it against Detroit. He responds better in those situations, usually.

Ohh Philadelphia. The place where starting QBs go to die and the backups are revered. Until they become the starter. Rinse. Repeat.

This is not to absolve him of having a bad game. He absolutely did. But man you guys really hate the starting QB of the Eagles. There is never any give unless he throws a perfect game and even then it will be about how he said something weird in the post game or some psychobabble about how he looked on the sidelines. This has been going on for as long as I can remember.

Stay saucy Philly!

It’s funny you mentioned tannehill cause i was thinking about this the other day. The eagles offense feels like a better and more upgraded version of the titans offense that had Henry and aj brown. Eagles have a better oline, tight end and no. 2 wr. I’d argue hurts is a better Qb than tannehill. But that’s what they kind of remind me of except just overall more talent and ability

This in bold plus the emergence of the D is when it become the standard for Hurts.  Do you want us to go back to him forcing things and committing loads of turnovers?  He ain't Joe Burrow.  He is who he is mate and the coaching staff has reeled him in so that the team could win games thru the brilliance of the other players.  Enjoy the ride and worry about replacing Hurts in the off season.

There's the false dilemma again...

That's fair, but the difference to me is that we've seen Hurts prove his ability and rise to the occasion. Tannehill? Not so much. Call 2022 a fluke all you want, and choose to believe he's never capable of that again. Meanwhile I'll enjoy watching us play the Rams with confidence that Hurts is certainly good enough to help us win that game.
