I think you're talking about the snapper, not the holder.  He's saying in that brief second or two where the holder sets the ball down before the kicker kicks it - what if you touch him?  Since his knee is down, would it be a tackle and dead ball?  I'm thinking it's probably covered in the rules that this isn't possible or it would have been done by now?

D'oh, yea I miss read that. I don't even know how that would be possible though with the other rule I was talking about with the snapper. You aren't getting a clean break through the middle so how would you touch the holder in the second or two it takes to kick from the snap?

Just googled it and apparently there is a roughing the holder penalty so you likely aren't allowed to directly touch them.

So the huge O line and generational running back versus the light, fast D line of the Rams....hmn....something tells me this favors the Eagles.

I'd run the ball.  A lot.

And when we throw each of the 22 times, I would look to Devonta first and more often, as the best route runner. And for the love of F, AJ on slants. Over and over.

Last Snowbowl was just awesome to see with Foles. Would love to see another

I'm guessing you wrote that list somewhere and at some point copy and pasted it.  You need to paste without formatting and it will work on both modes.

Even if you copy and paste something in the same window, it uses the font from the current theme and sets it.  If you just type without any copy\paste, it saves as plain text and works in both themes.

Agree with the first part with some caveats that probably would best be argued in a separate post.
As for the slants, that depends. On what the defense presents. Against man coverage, yes. Slants and rubs are the way to go. Against zones, however, definitely NOT. When you run a slant or a dig you’re running from an outside zone to a middle zone. The QB can’t see if an LB or safety is coming from the other direction and that player can step into the path of the receiver. Example: Baun’s INT on Sunday. Love never saw him.

And here’s the thing: teams play zone against us 80+% of the time. Why? Because in a zone the defenders are facing the QB most of the time and with our running game and a QB who likes to take off running it makes more sense watch him than to turn your back on him. You try slants against a zone and the ball will be coming back the other way.

Should have gone with this. Sorry, probably a bit insensitive to what's going on, which is beyond terrible.

VanSumeren's should switch to a number in the 40's next season if they plan to continue to have him come in as FB.

If the NFL ever decided to go with the NBA's Jerry West version of a logo, the image below should be the template.

That game was just so much fun to watch. Half of it was being snowed in at home knowing there was no way we had to go in to the office tomorrow and no where to go and the other half was watching Shady make everyone look like fools in the snow. Cherry on top was Celek sliding down in the snow to end the game.

He got what he deserved. Some 'maltreatment' of opposing fans is expected but it can go too far and with cameras everywhere, you should expect to suffer bad circumstances later.

That said, I'd never wear opposing gear to any other teams stadium and if I did, I'd be expecting extreme treatment. Maybe it would happen, maybe it wouldn't but I'd go into it expecting it.

We agree,  but I still think that Packers fan was looking for trouble for clicks. We only saw a clip. I find it hard to believe they were innocent little quiet people he dropped the C word on.

Good to know!

Link wouldn't embed for some reason. The new guardian cap. Still looks goofy, but a step in the right direction compared to the pillow case they have to wear over the cap now. Now that Schutt/Vicis have partnered with them, I'd imagine it's only a matter of time before this is incorporated under a shell.

I'd rather see something more like this:

In all for a snow game. I def think we should have an advantage as we are more physical on the OLine.

If you don't think a west coast team would struggle in the snow, please go and watch the niners vs Bills game this season. Niners were all at sea and had no clue on what to do with the conditions.
