I was driving back from a lunch appointment today and on NFL Radio Bruce Murray and Rich Gannon were ranking the remaining 8 QBs still in the playoffs.  Both had Jalen Hurts dead last at 8th place.  I only tuned in while they were near the end, so all I heard was Daniels #6, Stroud #7, and Hurts #8.

Both of them used the same reasoning as the concerns I have.  They understand that Hurts is playing mistake-free and not turning the ball over, but they don't have any faith that Hurts can lead the Eagles back from behind as he may have to do at some point.  Just to point out that the national sports media is seeing some of the same things.

Also, they had a program on last night with AJ Dillon as the guest host.  He's probably still stinging from the Packers loss, but he believes the Eagles will beat the Rams then lose to whoever they play in the NFCCG.  FWIW -- he picked Ravens over Commanders in the Super Bowl, so he may not have been entirely sober for the broadcast.

I hope they win a Super Bowl with Hurts averaging 130 yards per game passing just to hear the discourse.

2025 appears to be almost surely a Hurts year.  2026 could easily be a non-Hurts year, especially if McKee is signed to a very reasonable second contract.

I think the cart is very much being put in front of the McKee horse.

I completely agree. The Eagles have moved off of starting quarterbacks quicker than most teams, so it’s not out of the realm of possibility that Howie may make a move at the position.  I think people are really jumping the gun if they are assuming that move would be to Tanner McKee.

If a surprise QB move happens, I think it’s far more likely that Howie would be in love with a player in the draft (not this draft) and make moves to move up.

Why bring him back?

Could take Matt and his WR out of the game. Run vs run, which I like the odds of with the Eagles D and OL.

You already know what it is because it's common sense.  The fact new that they won in spite of him carried on the backs of the back of the run game and defense.

The QB situation there is a mess.....wonder what his plan is for next year - trade up or get a vetran (Cousins, Darnold)

Makes it harder to cover the WRs

Slick field is why green bay was able to hang with us in week 1.

Did you read the tweet? Can't play for Ravens this season but as an UFA, will factor into comp pick formula.

However, after the stuff he has pulled this year, I'd be surprised if any team signs him to a contract big enough and early enough to qualify for that.....his career may be over

How much passing happened in the snow game years ago? Some but I don't remember a ton. I remember Shady going off.

Best and youngest AND a legit DC to stay??? I like it

Barkley and this Oline in a Snowbowl should be a cheat code and I'm all for it

He did.  But I think the Rams short quick passing game is still tough to defend on those field conditions.

Yeah, I also think this is good news for the Eagles. We run the football better and have the better defense.

The national media is slobbering over the Rams

Snow and cold should play to our advantage but I also worry about Hurts losing some fumbles in the snow if it's slippery.

Snow and cold isn't ideal for the Eagles either unless they're gonna run with Barkley every down.  I dont want to see Hurts throwing it in a snow storm.  There could be ball security issues for both teams.

Teams out there really want Mike McCarthy. Seems like he will either go to the Bears or Saints. If Bears, Saints and Jets fight it out for Aaron Glenn. Jags seem to like Coen a lot.

Good for us. Barkley is a mudder, and his mutter was a mudder.

Nice pull.
