I kid with UK. I understand the skepticism being a Philly fan of anything. And honestly we can’t expect this defense to be absolutely lights out week after week after week in today’s NFL.  Especially bc they’re so damn young (which is awesome by the way). They had a letdown against the Commanders. I don’t expect another one this round, but I think if we lose a game where they let up a little bit, they won’t be to blame.  It’ll be bc Hurts is asked to do too much above his capabilities.

What offense has really torn up the Eagles secondary when everyone was playing? Slay went out last game and they still held them mostly in check. Will they score? Yeah, but no QB was hotter than Joey B this year and they held them.

Feel good about things. They are at home, it will be cold, they have to fly across the country and they have to deal with Carter in his face all game. 

On the other side of the ball I saw video of MB tossing a LB like Uncle Phil throwing Jazz out the door. One of their best corners is dealing with an injury as well. 

Nobody on here hates Hurts more than me and I even think he'll have a better game.

Yeah, before the BYE the Bucs got them. The Commanders got some points when KP couldn't do crap with the ball and CJ was tossed out of the game. Before that it was 14-0 and the Eagles had the ball after a turnover. If they didn't cheap shot Hurts that game is a blowout. Yeah, it will be difficult, but it's the second round of the playoffs. 

The Eagles have advantages on both sides of the line and the MVP of the league they have to deal with. People should feel good about things.

I’m going to a concert of the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, with my wife this Sunday. Starts at 2:30. Two Brandenburg Concertos (3rd and 5th) and a Bach cantata. Thank heavens for tape delay! I’ve done this before and never knew the outcome before turning on the game. And I fast forward through the commercials. Every time I’ve done this the Eagles have won. So, next week it’s the Orchestra. Tchaikovsky’s Symphonie Pathetique.

And it keeps my wife happy. No football widow, she.

I’m sure he’ll keep a lid on it but he shouldn’t have to. I still can’t believe he was booted from that game. I never believed in any ref tampering before, but this season is opening my eyes a little. Some insane 1-sided called games all season. Not to mention it’s just universally acceptable to hold Jalen Carter on every single play.

Rams are the classic underdogs "doing it for the city” that gives the media a feel good story.

These teams typically get smashed once they run into a real contender.
