We are clearly the better team so I would rather not have the snow even though it would be fun. Snow would change the dynamics and we don’t need that.

Fair point I guess it adds a layer of uncertainty and unpredictability. That said with our run game and playing a team used to warmer climates and effectively playing in a dome might help?

Agreed, the offense is always a wild card. Hopefully, they get Saquan going early and then dont have to worry about his late game heroics to save us.

You will get passes and weird bubble screens with Smith as the lead blocker and like it!

Exactly so.  On the surface of things it would appear to benefit a powerful running team but that might not always be the case.  Some, including Andy Reid, prefer to pass suggesting that the receivers know where they are going and thus don't slip as much.

For sure we want it cold and windy.  Those two things absolutely will affect passing.  Not so sure about the moisture though.  The gloves they wear these days take away a lot of the issues of gripping the ball and they consistently bring in a dry ball to use as well.  In any case, the traction on the ground will be a factor if it is wet.

I didn’t actually say that… Stafford is an elite QB on his day still and Puka is a top WR. I can see them scoring 20-24 points if our offense has one of those days and keeps giving them the ball back.

Stafford is no longer elite he threw for 2 more touchdowns than hurts of all people and didnt even get 4,000 yards passing either. Also saying Stafford is elite and worrying about that implies he has a chance to rip up our defense. They scored 30 or more points only 3 times all year the rams in the elements are not going to be good.

Each time I look at the forecast it shows a higher probability of snow and with higher amounts.  I sure hope Saquon has had a discussion with McCoy.

So am I right that Kellen Moore is having three interviews over the next 18hrs?  That's ridiculous.  So, he's going to spend what two hours on each one plus a couple of hours of prep?

I think in one off games he can be elite and he has the ability to put up yards. My worry is more about the offense stalling time after time and giving LA more opportunities to score than it is our D not being good enough.

It’s ridiculous and wrong! I get the chance to be a HC is a huge opportunity (and he’s not had that chance yet) but it’s still wrong. Looks like Kingsbury has done the right thing? He’s said he won’t interview until after the weekend. The only difference is I think Washington accept their offseason starts Monday whereas ours shouldn’t.

Better than Hurts, yes.  Elite, no.

I just said that offense and the QB / WR duo are a concern. I also said we are the better team and are at home.

You also said you have this image in your head where our season has ended.

Yeah it was influenza A for me.  I have always prided myself as someone that rarely gets sick.  I’ve never gotten the flu shot before.  But both me and my fiancé got it bad.  She got it a day before New Year’s Eve, and it escalated into pneumonia.  I was lucky that mine did not.  Maybe it’s because we’re getting a little older, but this was rough to deal with.  We both said we’d be getting flu shots in the future.

I was the same way, and it wasn't until I had kids that I started to realize it had less to do with what I was doing and more about what others were doing that causes someone to get sick.

Totally get this thinking, but snow games are awesome. Bring on the aesthetic.

We are practicing in it. They are not.

So, is the game going to be postponed?

On another note, while snow games are fun to watch - I feel like weather in general favors the inferior team, so I’m AOK with just a dry frigid day.

The latest I am seeing indicate that the snow won't really accumulate a ton during the game.

Agreed

My memory of the snow game was I lived in the area at that time and happened to be on vacation returning that night. I was pissed the flight somehow didn’t get canceled.

I was in the airport in Aruba flying home, and I somehow avoided all phones, airport TVs, and I refused to talk to anyone on that trip for fear of them spoiling it for me.  I didn't get home until around 9 at night and started the game on DVR.  Didn't even know it snowed until I was watching it  🤣

Hey that’s a great story. Hope your boyfriend was easy on you in Aruba. I’m sure you and Jeff Epstein had a great time

I understand. It's a playoff game, so anything can happen.

The lines on both sides are clear advantages for the birds. Expect good things this week in their house. People on the Rams are going to get moved. Hurts will bounce back. They just beat an 11 win team with a top ten defense with their C game. They got this.

Look man. It’s the playoffs. Not only do the Eagles need to bring their A game, you do too. I’m gonna need you to crank down the optimism and turn up they are going to lose button.
