The measuring stick for extremism should be based on the truth.  Not the perceived middle ground from where one of the extremes lies.

I an extreme based on RTKs idiocy. But I am in the middle based on reality. Extremes should be judged from there.

You have RTK to one extreme.  And maybe sometime like TJ who is even less likely to praise Hurts than I, on the other extreme (which somehow has gone pretty unnoticed.)

Those who perceive themselves to be in the middle based on RTK and my posts are actuality biased towards his stupid views. Sad.

TJ might be more extreme.  Actually, Diehard is likely the most extreme.  But there's a spectrum of people on the Hurts' discussion topic.  You are definitely on the opposite side of the debate... maybe not the most extreme, but definitely the most outspoken.

Yeah like I said before, everyone spent years laughing at RTK after Foles won it all 7 years ago, and yet people like HE are potentially putting themselves in the same position if we win it all this year. Not that it'll matter since we've already spent years laughing at HE so it wouldn't really change much.

That makes no sense.

that SOB grew up in eagles country and I was a big fan. Hes never done anything but hurt me. First staying in school. Now saying this. What a D.

If we weren’t able to get Q he was the other main guy I wanted Eagles to draft in the 1st.

Yeah.  I post more that most people.  The middle is a far far way from RTK. Being there doesn't make me extreme.

I think people get way too hooked on the $250 million number. Hurts will not see the full value of that.

Hurts QB cap hit ranking:

2025 - 7.8% of the total cap (18th)

2026 - 11% of the total cap (17th)

2027 - 13.3% of the total cap (12th)

For some context, here's some other players:

Josh Allen

2025 - 15.8% of the total cap

2026 - 22% of the total cap

2027 - 18.1% of the total cap

Jordan Love

2025 - 10.3% of the total cap

2026 - 12.5% of the total cap

2027 - 14% of the total cap

Justin Herbert

2025 - 13.5% of the total cap

2026 - 16% of the total cap

2027 - 18.6% of the total cap

It will make sense if we win and people start spamming you with pictures of Hurts holding up a lombardi.

You aren't in the middle, bud.

I don't see why they would do that. I welcome it. I'd love it as much as seeing Foles hoist it.  I don't see what that would that prove?

Wrong.  Unless you define the middle as not correct.  I'm wherever correct is. Call it what you want.

If I had to guess, I'd say for the same reason it happened to RTK, because of how highly valued your opinions have become.

No worries mate.  Just a message board.  Good to have opinions.  Lots of good posters on here which is why it makes for a good read and you always learn something too.  Keep on firing and hopefully everyone else will do the same.

Word is Goodell and the league are looking into moving the game to Indianapolis due to the snow since it will create an unfair disadvantage to the Rams.

The question is about whether or not you are getting proper return on the investment.

  • Brown's and Smith's getting good ROI on 'ability', but probably not their 'production'.
  • Barkley is absolutely a bargain at his salary.
  • Goedert is likely a bit of an overpay.
  • Johnson and Mailata are good ROI.
  • Dickerson is good ROI.
  • CJGJ is good ROI
  • Slay is decent ROI.   Bradberry is definitely not.
  • Elliott is clearly not good ROI.
  • And the dead money is something that many of us have been pointing to as something that would bite us eventually... but Howie will just kick more money into the future to make up for that dead money this year.

The question that remains unanswered yet is whether or not the deal for Hurts will provide good ROI as the contract continues in 2025, then in 2026, and in to 2027 and beyond.  People are on different extremes of that discussion... and some are sitting closer to the middle, others further to the extreme, likely with RTK at one max extreme, and HE at the opposite extreme end.

We know the reason for that but ignore it because we're winning

Unless you are trolling, you most likely believe what you are arguing is true.  You do it with consistency and fervor.  I support your freedom to do so.

That said, you position is extreme.

Have a good day.

That idiot wished injuries on Foles the following season. That's why he was banned from the old board. I highly doubt anyone on this board would wish an injury to qb1 or anyone on the Eagles. At the end of the day everyone would be happy if we won the SB with Qb1.

As I've said before,  being right isn't always easy around here.  I was also called a troll for 2-3 years to the slow pokes came around to realize Barnett sucked too.

I don't ever just start parroting wrong takes just to satisfy the rest of the EMB. I stay right and it's proven in time.

When being right is considered extreme,  that's a problem for the rest of you. Not me.
