Daniels with a strike and it's dropped. Washington hurting themselves way too much.

Still think I’d rather play Goff than Daniels

And that’s the challenge of playing the Lions.. a team has to be aggressive going for 4th down conversions…. absolutely can’t settle for fgs..you have to be pretty flawless on offense. A team can’t afford to fall behind early and try to pass their way back into the game.

Sure.   But at the same time... it pays not to be stupid on 4th down either.  They got way too cute and they got burned.   Trust your QB or your RB to pick it up, don't bring in the backup QB to run a fake sneak with a pitch back to the starting QB.  That's a 3rd down play where you still have 4th down if it blows up in your face spectacularly.

I'm torn. I don't want the Lions to win because I want the NFCCG in Philly, but I don't want Washington to get one game away from the Super Bowl. But if they did win, it would be a really fun thing to tease the Cowboys about, since they haven't advanced past the Divisional round in about 75 years.

Against the Lions, either the plan has to be to score 30 or have long drives.

I think we just found our Super Bowl officiating crew

Everytime i see a FG I'm reminded of Jake Elliott, our biggest liability.

I know this is fishing. But the truth is that if we get good QB play, tomorrows game is not going to come down to the kicker.

Daniels is way more prone to stupid plays trying to be superman. Goff had that awful 4 INT dame but aside from that he generally does a good job protecting the ball. Daniels threw the game away in the second game against us, he's just lucky devonta dropped an easy pass. The only annoying thing is his running, but Goff is a better passer right now

Gibbs is just as scary as Daniels.

It's not fishing.  Jake Elliott has been terrible this year and missed an extra point last week.

Wow.

Gibbs is scary.

Even with long drives, the lions can score quickly and in bunches. When they’re averaging 36 points per game their last five weeks you’re likely going to have to score in the mid to upper 30s to beat them. Because even if you have a great defense, they are so good on offense they’re gonna put up points. They put up 31 against Minnesota and GB. They put up 42 against Buffalo. All 3 have better defenses than the commanders. Most weeks you can win football game scoring in the high 20s. I think if you play the Lions you have to be in the 30s to be in the game.

Gibbs is CJ2K type fast

LET'S GO !

I don't get it.  We're winning with Jake as the kicker.   His record is second to none in the modern era of football.

We've won a Super Bowl, gotten to a second, and won 15 games this season with Jake.   All the guy does is win.

And that's what could cost the Lions... little hands Goff.

Nice!

Massive turnover by Goff

Yup, statue QBs are easier to deal with.

Right when I think Commies are about to be put away they hang around again

thats the turnover they needed
yeah I'd rather see statue goff

Detroit giving Washington hope... they are going to stick around.

Best case scenario is that both team beat the living snot out of each other.

Oddly I think RTK & HE are both right. Hurts & Elliott are the two uncertainties for me in the playoffs.

If Hurts is on point I’m less worried about Elliott

both defenses looking suspect

That was strange.  Didn’t Robinson run out of bounds?  Shouldn’t the clock have stopped?
