I have been a fan a long time. A home playoff game is easier to win than an away game. The Eagles still have to beat a good team tomorrow to get in the game.

I have a very random rule question.

We saw in that one Cowboys playoff game that it’s legal for any player to line up at center, and for only one player to be on the line. We also know it’s not a penalty to have less than 11 players on the field.

So, after a long play in hurry up situation, could just two faster players rush up the field, while everyone else runs to the sideline, to play C and QB and spike it to save some time? Or is that some formation penalty?

Only asking because the Lions wasted like five seconds to have the one guy run on the field for seemingly no reason.

Yup… don’t go looking past this game. I don’t think the NFL really wants an LA m/Washington matchup but they could be excited about a potential championship game in LA. Get all the stars out 👎

3 of the last 4 years (giants/eagles game bucks this trend) there’s always been an upset/close games in the divisional round in the Saturday night game. This year commanders. Last year packers took the niners to the brink. 2021 niners upset the packers in GB.

If the proposed center doesn't the appropriate jersey number, if believe he'd have to report.  That extra time may make the attempt to be efficient moot.

You have to have 7 men on the LOS. You can have less than 11. I don’t see why you couldn’t do that for a spike. 

If Daniels was a Dallas Cowboy I think the FCC would temporarily allow porn on national day time TV just so every analyst could have a literal circlejerk about the guy. 

 

Need to avoid mistakes.  Detroit outgained the Commanders and lost by two TDs.
